Meet Coco – Your Oversized Shadow and Cuddle Queen!
At just 11 months old and already tipping the scales at 130 pounds (with more growing to do!), Coco the Great Dane is a goofy, gentle giant who’s all heart and hilariously long legs.
Coco is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on a gentle leader, and has great dog-to-dog manners. While she plays well with canine companions, she’s not dependent on having another dog around. No cats, though – they’re a hard pass for this gal. She could live with kids, but due to her size and enthusiasm (think “bull in a china shop” energy), any tiny humans should be sturdy and dog-savvy!
She’s a total Dane through and through – clumsy, silly, affectionate, and just the right amount of nosey. Coco lives for her people. She will follow you everywhere, poke her snoot into whatever you’re doing, and happily lean her full weight into you for snuggles. She’s absolutely convinced she’s a lap dog and will curl right up on you given the chance.
Her signature move? Randomly placing her front paws on your shoulders for a big ol’ hug – we suspect it’s a leftover trick from her previous home. Her foster is working on nixing the jumping, but it’s worth noting when you’re 130 pounds of love, even your hugs are major events.
Coco knows basic commands, especially if you have treats. Without snacks? She mysteriously forgets everything. She’s a foodie and a kitchen helper – by that, we mean she will put her whole snout in whatever food source is within reach. Still working on those kitchen manners!
She’s extremely well-behaved when home alone – no destruction, just naps and quiet play. She’s not a barker, but if someone comes to the door, you’ll hear one or two deep, impressive “guard dog” barks before she goes back to lounging.
Coco is fully vetted, will be spayed, and come with her health certificate. She’s looking for a home where slobber is welcomed, couches are shared, and love is endless.
If you’ve got the heart (and couch space) for a loyal, loving, and delightfully dopey Dane, Coco just might be your perfect match.
