Hi! I’m Millie, an 8-year-old Great Dane with a gentle heart, a loyal spirit, and just the right amount of sass. I’m all about living the good life—leisurely walks, car rides, squeaky chewies, and relaxing near my people (preferably on a cozy dog bed or with one hip casually resting on the couch). I get along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, and I’ve got top-notch house manners. I’m fully potty trained, crate trained (though I don’t need it), and I’m totally trustworthy to free roam when you’re not home. I don’t chew what I’m not supposed to, and I keep the house in order—unless a squirrel or delivery driver shows up, then I’ll let them know who’s boss (respectfully, of course!). I adore chewies—that’s what my people call treats, and I know the word well. Pig ears, soft jerky, bully sticks? Yes, please. I’ll politely pass on the milkbones and hard chews though—I prefer the meaty stuff. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve too. I know how to sit, lay down, shake, “leave it,” and “no.” And if you pat your shoulders, I’ll gently place my paws up to stand face-to-face with you (we don’t do this much anymore—I’m not as spry as I once was, but it’s still pretty cute). I’m a social girl who assumes everyone wants to say hi—and honestly, I’m usually right. I love doggie daycare, neighborhood walks, trips to the dog park, shopping at Lowe’s, or getting pampered with a bath at Hollywood Feed. Wherever you go, I’m just happy to tag along. At 8 years young, I’ve gracefully left my wild puppy days behind and settled into the sweet spot of life: relaxed, loving, and still up for a good adventure. I’m looking for a new home through no fault of my own—my current family is facing some big life changes and wants the best for me.
