Benny is a joyful, playful pup full of energy and always ready for his next adventure! He loves squeaky toys and will happily bounce around the yard or play a game of fetch to burn off some of that fun-loving energy. He’s great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a family. Benny is already house trained and crate trained—such a smart boy! He’s currently working on his basic commands and will need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him polish his manners. With his long legs like a Great Dane and a sleek Lab-like coat, Benny is as handsome as he is athletic. He would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. Story
Meet Otto – Your Shadow, Adventure Buddy, and Best Friend Otto is an outstanding, approximately 2-year-old German Shepherd Great Dane mix (our best guess) with the happiest heart and the goofiest personality. He is fun, affectionate, energetic, and truly thrives on being right by his person’s side. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be part of everything you do, Otto is your guy. This handsome boy loves to run alongside the four-wheeler and enjoys staying active, but his favorite place will always be right next to his people. Otto does not enjoy being away from his humans and would do best in a home where he can be included in daily life. He is eager to please, loyal to the core, and happiest when he knows he belongs. Otto is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. He is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will appreciate his devotion, energy, and big shepherd heart. Adoption Fee: • $200 local (Texas) • $450 out of state (includes transport) If you’re looking for a smart, loving, always-by-your-side best friend who will bring joy, laughter, and loyalty into your life, Otto is ready to meet you. 🐾💙

Story
Have you ever met a dog that is just steals your heart the very moment you see them for the first time? Charming COLE is one such dog. He’s a handsome boy who is an owner release to our shelter, and while very sad to be living with us after having a home, he is enjoying being the apple of the shelter staff's eyes. This dapper gentleman has a sweet frosted face, the only sign of his older age. This Great Dane /mix is still treat motivated, meaning you can easily win him over with treats, but he also adores the adoration of his fans (there are many of us! ) – he lives for love and attention. Your smiles and cuddles and making a fuss over him will work almost as well as those tasty tidbits. If you’re looking for the perfect cuddly senior companion to keep you warm this winter, look no further than COLE. He is a golden boy with a golden heart! Cole is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV, about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh. Please contact the shelter at 304-394-0800 for more information about Cole or to arrange a meet and greet.  January 19, 2026, 12:35 pm

Shrek is a great name for me! I am kind of a sweet OGRE looking boy with a loving heart and kind of beat up body. It is HARD to live on the streets! I had an old injury so limping was my norm. It was discovered that my back leg had been broken and healed very wonky. Now my bad leg is gone and I am pain free! NOW, I am a healthy TRIPOD boy looking for just the right family...one who will care for me for all my days! I deserve it and you deserve this cute OGRE in your life too! Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
