Story
Meet June – A Graceful Soul in Great Dane Form   There are dogs… and then there is June. A vision in brindle and white, this 3-year-old, 100-pound Great Dane is the embodiment of quiet majesty and gentle strength. With her long, elegant stride and serene presence, June moves through the world like a gazelle—light on her feet, yet grounded in love.  Rescued by a small town animal control officer, this girl was in a neglect situation and her life was spared from more years of a sad existence.  Today you would never know her heart and soul had been so mistreated. June has not only captured hearts—she has healed them as well as her own. In her foster home, she has proven to be a gentle treasure: housebroken, well-mannered, and endlessly affectionate. She delights in the company of other dogs and finds pure joy in the simple pleasure of play. There is a poetic softness to her, as though she knows what it is to be lost, and what it means to be found.   June is not suited for a home with cats, as her instincts to chase are strong. However, she would thrive in a peaceful home with a securely fenced yard—an open space where she can run with the elegance that seems to be written into her very soul.   To know June is to witness grace in motion. She is a loyal and loving companion, ready to offer her whole heart to the person who opens theirs in return.   If you feel called to give this extraordinary girl the forever home she so deserves, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Your life will be all the more beautiful for it.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 9:39 pm

Story
This sweet dog is an owner surrender. The current family could not afford to keep him and found it difficult to feed him. We naturally offered to help but they were also having to move which new home would not allow dogs. Especially a big one! Opie is an easy dog, very sweet . He is a mix of lab and Dane. He is happy in nature and will be a great dog for any family. Because of his size Opie has been in rescue for about 5 months. Opie is a hearty eater and has been become a little protective over his food. This can be normal for dogs in rescue. Once in a home and the dirt settles, Opie will see the food will not run out and will calm down. He just needs to feel secure. Currently Opie lives in a kennel and absolutely loves it! But Danes are short haired dogs so living outside is not possible especially in the north. Opie goes in when cold or storming. Please remember dogs are area specific trained and Opie is no different. He learns fast, so upon arrival he will need to be shown where he is expected to go! RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com You can also visit our website Rpacirescue.org to fill out an adoption application

Story
Ivy Rose Great Dane ( DNA Proves Full-Blood) Unfortunately Ivy was heartworm positive when rescued but is doing slow kill treatment and doing great. Hi! I’m Ivy Rose! I’m told I’m around the age of 3, but I’m not positive about that. I’m a Great Dane that was found as a stray with a litter of puppies under a porch at a school in Texas! I made my way up here in November 2023 with my litter of puppies. They all found their homes as soon as we got to New Jersey. But me? I haven’t had the best luck. I had two potential adopters but it didn’t work with them and my foster parents now say that it wasn’t my fault. And I think they’re right! It just wasn’t the right situation or the right people introducing me correctly to my new surroundings. I’m a real big girl but I’m on a diet now and exercising with my foster parents. I’m currently living with two dogs… and one of them is actually my son! I was correctly introduced to them and I’m doing really, really well with them. I will from time to time tell my son to get out of my face but it’s just normal dog communication and behavior and he’s a little annoying anyway ( a lot annoying actually, he’s a big boy that’s still a puppy). I also currently am with two little humans (2&4) and they’re pretty cool, too. I do get a little strange towards them if they’re crying/making loud noises though. So my foster mom has been giving us some space until I learn they’re not something to be frightened of. My foster dad has been really great exposing me to new things. I’ve been around chainsaws, chippers, mini skids, air compressors and really any loud scary thing you can think of. And I’m doing great with them! I also don’t mind the horses and goats here, they’re pretty fun to watch and they don’t even phase me. I do get a little scared on walks when cars pass by and I’ll lay down. But honestly I’m getting over that pretty quickly too! All in all I think I’m a really special girl. I REALLY love staying right by my foster parents sides and have no intention on running off. If I’ve accepted you as my, “person” I really won’t leave your side and I’ll want to be next to you 24/7. I know I could make someone really happy. I think it would be best to find a home that has large dog experience, older kids or no kids (as I’ve shown to be a little over interested when they’re upset/loud), another dog friend would be a lot of fun, someone willing to continue to work with me to build my confidence/structure/discipline/obedience. I know I have a lot of potential to be really great! Get your applications in. You must have an approved application to come and meet them. Once you submit an application please reach out to us in text or email. We text people so make sure your phone is not blocking unkown callers. Please do not submit an application and then ignore us when we contact you. Please send us a message on Facebook and don't forget to Like and Follow our page . Story
Gracie is the best girl. She is a skinny 85 lbs and just over a year old. Gracie is great with everyone she meets, including dogs and cats. She is calm and gentle and a touch submissive, but still active, silly, and playful. Dane experience is very important for this breed type and a fenced yard will help. Due to her size and age, we prefer no smaller kids. Gracie is so much prettier in person and just a wonderful family dog, in need of her forever family, and more weight (is now up to 93 lbs). A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure.   LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   May 12, 2025, 2:07 pm
