Blaine is a dapper 4(ish) year old Great Dane who came into our care after he was abandoned. He was found tied up in Philadelphia, so tight he couldn’t even sit. Tired, hungry, thirsty and scared, Blaine waited for hours until a Good Samaritan came and picked him up. He was transported an hour to Blue Pearl and then we were called. Blaine has been in our care for 2.5 months and since his arrival has gained much needed weight and the wounds on his legs have finally healed enough. He has done well with a few female dogs he has met who are medium/large in size but doesn’t understand his own size sometimes. He would do better in a home without young children as he has boundaries that need to be respected. Blaine would thrive in a home with adults who have XL breed experience since he thinks he’s a lap dog and wants to be as close as possible. Blaine is a sweet boy who has been dealt a bad hand in the first half of his life, so it’s up to us to share him and find him the home he deserves! Meet Maximus, a sweet Dane! He is about 18 months old and gets along with everyone and other dogs as well. Not sure with cats right now. Maximus was found on the interstate and was very lucky not to be hit. We have tried to locate his pet parents for weeks now, but have been unable. So we are now trying to find him a home filled with love and activity. Maximus is heart worm negative and all medical will be completed on 8/7! If interested please reach out. He really is a sweet boy!!! RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Story

Tall Titan, is a strong and remarkable Warrior, a dog that has fought to be alive and walking today on this earth. He has willed himself to come from the depths of pain and starvation to become this handsome boy that you see right now. He is our Super Hero Pup and our example of a creature that has never given up even when it would have been easier to just go to sleep and never wake up. When Titan came to a rescue lady’s house that Critter Cavalry knows, this boy was malnourished and just a skeleton of the puppy he should be as a Great Dane. The lady has a love for the Danes and she asked CCR to please take him into our rescue before she fell in love and couldn’t let him go. She had enough dogs and just felt the temptation to keep him was too great. We agreed and soon Titan was ours to raise and get prepped for a new home and family. Shortly afterwards his foster family noticed he was struggling to walk and his joints were inflamed. Titan was taken to several vets before receiving the diagnosis of Hypertrophic osteodystrophy (HOD). He has been put on a regimen of medications, high calorie food and hydrotherapy and is now running, jumping and playing with other dogs. His favorite things to do are play with toys, run and nap in the sun. Titan is a large dog and will do best in a home with another large dog or two that he will be able to play with. He will continue to need medication intermittently for some time and to be followed by a veterinarian. If you have large breed dog experience and are willing to take on this fellas special needs please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue. He is not house trained to hold longer than 4 hours. He needs to eat separately at mealtimes and he needs to learn better how to play with his toys in a group setting if there are other dogs. If he is the only dog then there is no special monitoring. Titan rides like a champ in the car or truck and he is definitely crate trained with good dog/name recall. He would be easier to watch in the yard if you had a real physical fence installed since he likes to wander off out of curiosity. He healed amazingly and loves everybody he meets. Asher enjoys all the toys that were bought by people while he was recovering and he loves exploring in the yard. His favorite thing though is greeting new people and being loved on. This boy would be perfect for any family. Let's start making those summer memories that will last a lifetime by adopting Asher today." Asher is healthy and has a slight deformation on his mouth due to reconstruction from the buckshot wound. He is house and crate trained and does well walking on a leash. Asher has medium energy level and would benefit from daily walks and active play in an enclosed area. He plays gently with other dogs. Asher has such a sweet personality and temperament and would be perfect in a home where he will get lots of love and attention.

Bubba is a beautiful young lBubba is a beautiful young dog with a beautiful ginger, brown and white coat. He is well-behaved and loving, super smart and highly trainable. He has a very regal appearance, and also a silly puppy side.. Due to his owners death, he and his buddy Billy found themselves in a dangerous kill shelter. They have both been pulled from that shelter and are currently in a foster home.. Foster is a very temporary place, because pets are not allowed in the building. Bubba and Billy are good friends, but they do not have to be adopted together..
