Story
Meet Watson—your future best friend, loyal companion, and the kind of dog who always seems like he’s one step away from solving the mystery of who’s going to throw the next ball. With his soft, light-colored coat, expressive eyes, and ever-wagging tail, Watson has a warm, inviting presence that makes it easy to fall for him. He has a friendly, attentive face that lights up when people approach, and he clearly loves being part of the action. Watson is a smart, engaged boy who already knows several commands including “sit,” “play nice,” and polite mealtime routines like sitting and waiting for “go ahead.” He even understands some Spanish cues, showing just how tuned in he is to his people. He enjoys sniffy walks where he can take in all the “clues” of the world, loves to run and play, and has a fun, goofy personality that makes him a joy to be around. Recently returned to us, Watson is settling back in and showing us exactly who he is—a loyal, affectionate dog who loves both activity and connection. Once he’s had his fill of adventure, he’s more than happy to curl up for cuddles with his favorite humans. Like a true Watson, he’s observant, clever, and always ready to be by your side—whether you’re solving the mysteries of the day or just enjoying a quiet moment together.

Story
This is Samson. He’s a 6 year old neutered harlequin Great Dane. Sam is very well behaved, typically very docile and easy going. He loves to go for rides, has been raised with other dogs and been around cats. He needs to be rehomed because he snapped at a 9 year old boy, so for that reason he cannot go to a home with kids.

Story
This is a courtesy post. Hugh is with Pip's Rescue Pack. for more information, please email pipsrescuepack@gmail.com Before anything you should know that the home that Hugh needs must be: • 1–2 adults only • Very low traffic • No kids • An experienced, confident dog owner • Someone patient who will go slow and build trust • Someone who won’t be deterred by potential lunging and can confidently manage it while avoiding situations that may trigger him This is the general information about Hugh: Hugh is a stunning 3-year-old, 120lb neutered male merle Great Dane who turns heads everywhere he goes. He was found as a stray in San Antonio and he was taken to the shelter. He had Demodex mange, so he was put on the euthanasia list. Luckily PPip's Rescue Pack Foster Grouppulled him out of the shelter and he was provided the vet care he needed. Huge was adopted to a family out of state, but unfortunately it did not work out and Huge is now back at his foster home in Pflugerville. Huge is a happy playful goof ball who loves to explore, romp around, and be near his people. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other pups. There are no issues in his current foster home, but we became aware that Huge can get stressed around people he does not know, mostly men. His lack of trust of men is probably due something that happened to him in the past. It’s obvious that Hugh has been through a lot. His behavior and physical condition are consistent with a history of neglect, and possibly abuse. When going to a new place, he needs time to decompress and feel secure in his environment. Once he gets settled, you get to see the happy, goofy, playful loving dog that he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and endlessly entertaining companion, Hugh is your guy. He’s a gentle giant with a huge heart, ready to soak up love and return it tenfold. Link to adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PRP/Dog

Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Meet Breaker – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Breaker is a handsome Great Dane mix a little over a year old who is ready to find an active, committed family to call his own. At around 65 pounds, he’s a wonderful blend of big-dog presence and goofy puppy charm. Breaker is currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, but he can be transported to the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast United States for the right home. Breaker thrives on activity and he still has that classic puppy energy, so he’s looking for a family that understands the importance of positive correction, consistency, and continued training to help him grow into the best version of himself. With the right guidance, Breaker is eager to learn and please. One of Breaker’s favorite things in the world is going on adventures. He absolutely loves riding in the car and would be thrilled to tag along for hikes, outings, road trips, or any fun day spent exploring with his people. Water is another big favorite—splashing, wading, and cooling off are right up his alley. When playtime rolls around, Breaker is all in. He loves toys of all kinds and enjoys playing with dogs his own size. Most of all, Breaker wants to be with his people. He would happily spend the entire day with his family, whether that means being on the go or just hanging out together. If you’re an active household looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion to share life’s adventures, Breaker may be the perfect match for you. |Santiago is a striking dog with a mostly white coat and a unique mix of white, tan, and grey on his face. He looks like a blend of Shepherd, Anatolian or Pyrenees, and Great Pyrenees, and carries himself with a gentle, thoughtful presence. At around 50 pounds, he’s a medium-large dog with a calm energy that makes him a steady companion. In the care of a foster home, Santiago has shown that he can settle when given space, patience, and quiet encouragement. He is comfortable in a household with other dogs and doesn’t react to normal activity or people moving around, showing that he can learn to feel safe in a calm, structured environment. Car rides are still a bit overwhelming, and new experiences can be intimidating for him, but with a gentle guide, Santiago is beginning to show curiosity and trust. He is not destructive and adjusts well when left alone in a secure, quiet space. Santiago is looking for a patient home that can continue to help him gain confidence, offering calm reassurance and gentle guidance. With the right family, he has the potential to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.

KJ is well socialized, gentle and a joy to be with. He is housebroken and will sit on request. This includes waiting for his supper. His favorite toy is a large knotted rope. He loves to play fetch. He will also be happy to sit in a corner and chew on his toy until he falls asleep. He often takes naps with his paw on his toy; it’s adorable! On walks, he is very polite and has good leash-manners. But he also still has a lot of puppy playfulness in him. He will do that puppy bow and invite you to chase him or play with him. He will be a great companion for a person or family looking for a playful dog wanting to go on adventures or keep up with an active household. Meet this perfect boy while you still have the chance before he gets adopted!
