Story
This is Boone. He is a 9 years old fawn Great Dane. His owner is an elderly person and she can no longer take care of Boone, so she reached out to us asking for help to find Boone a new home. Boone is a senior dog, but he is in excellent health, still believes he's a puppy. He has a sweet personality. He gets along with the other dog in the house, but probably prefer being an only dog. He's never displayed any aggression. He's housebroken and good on a leash and he loves going on walks. If you would like to give this sweet giant boy a new home, please go to our website and fill out the adoption application.

Story
This is a courtesy post. Hugh is with Pip's Rescue Pack. for more information, please email pipsrescuepack@gmail.com Before anything you should know that the home that Hugh needs must be: • 1–2 adults only • Very low traffic • No kids • An experienced, confident dog owner • Someone patient who will go slow and build trust • Someone who won’t be deterred by potential lunging and can confidently manage it while avoiding situations that may trigger him This is the general information about Hugh: Hugh is a stunning 3-year-old, 120lb neutered male merle Great Dane who turns heads everywhere he goes. He was found as a stray in San Antonio and he was taken to the shelter. He had Demodex mange, so he was put on the euthanasia list. Luckily PPip's Rescue Pack Foster Grouppulled him out of the shelter and he was provided the vet care he needed. Huge was adopted to a family out of state, but unfortunately it did not work out and Huge is now back at his foster home in Pflugerville. Huge is a happy playful goof ball who loves to explore, romp around, and be near his people. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other pups. There are no issues in his current foster home, but we became aware that Huge can get stressed around people he does not know, mostly men. His lack of trust of men is probably due something that happened to him in the past. It’s obvious that Hugh has been through a lot. His behavior and physical condition are consistent with a history of neglect, and possibly abuse. When going to a new place, he needs time to decompress and feel secure in his environment. Once he gets settled, you get to see the happy, goofy, playful loving dog that he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and endlessly entertaining companion, Hugh is your guy. He’s a gentle giant with a huge heart, ready to soak up love and return it tenfold. Link to adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PRP/Dog

Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Meet Breaker – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Breaker is a handsome Great Dane mix a little over a year old who is ready to find an active, committed family to call his own. At around 65 pounds, he’s a wonderful blend of big-dog presence and goofy puppy charm. Breaker is currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, but he can be transported to the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast United States for the right home. Breaker thrives on activity and he still has that classic puppy energy, so he’s looking for a family that understands the importance of positive correction, consistency, and continued training to help him grow into the best version of himself. With the right guidance, Breaker is eager to learn and please. One of Breaker’s favorite things in the world is going on adventures. He absolutely loves riding in the car and would be thrilled to tag along for hikes, outings, road trips, or any fun day spent exploring with his people. Water is another big favorite—splashing, wading, and cooling off are right up his alley. When playtime rolls around, Breaker is all in. He loves toys of all kinds and enjoys playing with dogs his own size. Most of all, Breaker wants to be with his people. He would happily spend the entire day with his family, whether that means being on the go or just hanging out together. Story
Meet Duffy, a resilient and charming blue-and-white Terrier mix who is ready to find his team! Despite a challenging start, this goofy and playful guy hasn’t let anything stop him from being a loyal, affectionate companion. Why You'll Love Him: 🏠 Expert House Guest: Duffy is both crate trained and house trained, calm throughout the day and loving nothing more than a good nap and a bully stick. 💪 Brave Survivor: As a Distemper survivor, Duffy has an endearing little twitch that serves as a badge of his strength - it’s most noticeable when he’s relaxing and just adds to his unique charm. 🤝 Loyal Companion: Though he prefers a patient "slow and steady" introduction to new people, once you are in his circle, you are in for life. Duffy is looking for a home with teens and up where he can be spoiled as your only pet. He thrives on routine and enjoys walk to explore the neighborhood at a gentle pace. If you're looking for a devoted, smart, and loyal partner, look no further than Duffy!

Meet Lady Professional Couch Companion & Zero Judgment Queen Lets be honest for a second... Everyone thinks they want the dog that's going to inspire them to wake up at 5 a.m., run three miles, hike every weekend, and finally become the outdoorsy person they've always imagined. Spoiler alert: Most of us hit snooze. And then comes the guilt. The high-energy dog needs more. The owner feels bad. Everyone is stressed. Sometimes the dog even ends up back in rescue. Lady looked at that whole situation and said, Nah. Lady's love language is simply being with her people. Shed much rather curl up next to you while you binge-watch your favorite show, read a book, work from home, or enjoy a quiet evening on the porch. If you're up for a leisurely stroll, she's in. If your biggest adventure today is moving from the couch to the kitchen... she's also in. She's calm, easygoing, and wonderfully content with life's simple pleasures. No pressure. No marathon training. No side-eye because you skipped leg day. If you've been searching for a loyal best friend who matches your lets just relax together energy, Lady might just be your perfect soulmate. Come meet Lady. She's been patiently saving you a spot on the couch. Marmalade is spayed, vaccinated, and fostered in Austin, Texas. If you'd like to meet her and see if she's the missing piece of your family, we'd love to hear from you.
