Story
Kronk is a 1 year old Great Dane who loves to play. He was never socialized when he was a puppy, so new sounds and especially new people, excite him very much. He loves carrots, he even knows the word, but doesnt care for celery. He absolutely adores car rides, but isnt great on walks. He loves running around like a maniac, but also loves to relax next to you while receiving belly rubs. He is a great nap buddy. He loves playing tug of war and hide and seek. He is very clingy, or a velcro dog and will push his way into your arms for a head scratch. Overall our boy is such a great dog, i mean look at his sweet face! We adore him so much, but our home is too small to accomodate the combination of his energy and size. Im hoping to reach a family who has space, time and love for my big guy. We want him to be so loved, just as he deserves to be.

Story
Hi I'm Ocean! I'm a great Dane mix. I'm pretty much scared of everything. I am an older boy that would love to have my own family. I don't do much. I'm a good boy. I get along with other dogs and cats don't bother me. I really just want to curl up somewhere and sleep. I'm house trained and crate trained. I'm neutered and current on vaccines. I did test positive for heartworms. I'm currently on slow kill treatment. If I had a family to help me through the fast kill treatment, I could do that. I'm a sweet boy that loves people.

Story
I have been Fostering these twins for about 2 years. Due to some family circumstances I really need to find them a home together. They are very affectionate, low maintenance but big eaters. They do bark at strangers but they have never bit anyone. As far as not being good with cats well they think cats are stuffed animals. Bowser is about 167 and Bud is around 130. I do have dishes a split harness leash that’s heavy duty. I really hope I can get them a forever home with someone who loves them as much as I do. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.

Story
Let me introduce myself - My name is Deuce. I'm part Great Dane, part Black Lab and 100% goofy! Play time is the absolute best, especially with other dogs with similar play styles. I love going on adventures, like hiking, exploring, and car rides - yes please! I've been told I'm a bit of a sun-worshipper - who doesn't enjoy a good nap, soaking up some rays?!?! I play nicely with my stuffed toys and even share nicely with my canine friends. If I get bored while alone, I will find something to keep me busy, so I much prefer to have a human or canine companion. I'm treat motived and know some basic commands, like sit and down. I enjoy learning new commands and skills, I may not be the fastest learner, but I am a thorough learner. Deuce has been at the shelter since August 2021 - he is so ready for his forever home. Deuce has a little extra in his swagger, kind of a "John Wayne" walk. Occasionally you'll catch him skip a beat in his gait or he might easily trip, but it certainly doesn't slow him down for walks, jogs, or play time. If anything, it makes him even more interesting and endearing. Deuce may chase cats that run but may be able to co-exist with cats that stand their ground. Mostly he just wants to play with them. Deuce can be a little unsure around new people so he will need a patient adopter that allows him to get to know new people at his pace. Most importantly, Deuce is loving, loyal and will melt to the ground when doted on - he will make a truly wonderful companion and keep you smiling from all his silly antics!

Story
I have a handsome three year old, still intact, half great Dane, half Pyrenees 124 pound large ball of love. I currently have custody of him, because his parents (who had him since he was a pup) finally had to give in and leave him with me so they could find a place to live. No one would lease them a home because of him based on size only. He is completely house trained. I am 64 and my husband is 71 (and has cancer) and Max is just a little too much for us to handle. He is very gentle and very good with other dogs. Even little bitty ones. Cats don’t relate to him well because of his size. He loves sharing the bed with you or sleeping near you. He has been raised in a residential environment and enjoys a large fenced yard. He is up to today on shots, is crate trained, and his crate would go with him.
