Story
About Chewy A very large, yet sweet Great Dane/Mastiff mix, believed to be approximately 5 years old, Chewy is a gentle and friendly fellow with a lot of energy. Chewy was adopted in February 2022. He was brought back after his owner sadly passed away. Chewy has shown us his soft and cuddly side, making us all fall in love. Chewy seems to be a ladies’ man. So, it might take a few visits to warm up to a male friend. He is a big goofball who sometimes forgets how big he is at 150 pounds. He requires a home with no other animals and no children under the age of eight. He would love to meet you!

Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Breaker is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This splash-happy pup LOVES the water—whether he’s chasing toys into the pool, splashing through a creek, or just romping around the yard, Breaker is always up for adventure. With the playful energy of a Boxer and the gentle, loyal nature of a Dane, he’s the best of both worlds—equal parts fun and affection. Breaker is dog-friendly (with pups his size), loves people, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. Breaker wasn't given much structure as a pup so, Breaker sometimes tries to play bite to get his way. Even after a board-and-train program, he will need a family committed to consistent, positive reinforcement training to help him reach his full potential. Breaker would thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, water-loving companion who will keep you laughing and fill your days with joy, Breaker is your guy! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Are you the one to help him heal? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Pickles is a 1 1/2 year old Great Dane/Retriever mix who came to us from California after his owner passed away. He is ready to find his forever family in the PNW! Pickles is an amazingly sweet boy, he loves his people and is very affectionate. He is friendly with everyone and will make a great companion. After Pickles warms up he is goofy and loves to run around and play. He will need a family that can keep him properly exercised, and ideally has a fenced yard for this big boy to run and play! Pickles has been good with other dogs in our care, and would do well with a dog companion, or fine as an only dog with continued socialization. Pickles is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Briscoe! She is a stunning 4-5 year-old, 63 LB great Dane, who came to us from an overcrowded shelter and is looking for her forever home! Briscoe is an absolute sweetheart and has been very playful with all of our staff and a few of the other dogs in our care! She came to us very underweight and we are working on bringing her back up to a healthy size, so she will require an adopter who is committed to helping her continue her journey back to health and put some weight on her. Briscoe has been a great leash walker, incredibly loving, and has shown to have quite the goofy side. She has beautiful eyes ~ one brown and one blue ~ as well as a gorgeous spotted coat! She would love another dog in the home as a playmate, but could also do fine as an only dog if she had continued socialization as she is a social girl and loves interacting with other dogs. Briscoe is going to make such an amazing dog for whoever adopts her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has not been tested with cats or children. Her adoption fee is $450.

These pups are in Sequim, Washington too!

Story
Meet Austin! This Anatolian shepherd mix is still in training and will only be placed with a home that understands the breed and will work with Austin to keep up the progress he is making. Austin, like many rescue dogs, had a rough start to life. He is very shy around new people and takes a while to warm up to them. He was born in June 2020, so he is still fairly young and would benefit from ongoing training and human companionship. In his time at WAG, he has spent time with a similarly sized female dog, so he might do well with a canine companion. Austin is looking for a calm home, so children may be overwhelming to him.   Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements.
