Story
My name is Javi. I am a big, solid, handsome boy! I was being surrendered to a high kill shelter with my sisters when I was saved at the last second...in the parking lot....before we entered the pound :) Now THAT is a RESCUE STORY!!! I am a BIG boy with a soft heart. I love to snuggle and get love from all the dogs in my foster home. I am a little slower to cuddle with my people until I know you are MY people! I am still shyer than my sisters from our ruff beginning. However, I have been working hard to learn to love and trust like sissies and am ready for YOU!! I especially love the tiny one who doesn't get that I'm just a giant teddy bear. I have the most adorable eyes and get so excited for treats, in fact kids are my FAVORITE :) Have you ever tasted their fingers?? Chicken nuggets and Cheerios ALL DAY LONG!! but I digress..... I want my furever family, little ones included and so if you like BIG BIG DOGS, APPLY!!! I am going to be WELL over 100# so must love BIG MUTTS! Some basic information about Javi; he is male, Great Dane/ Labrador Retriever mix, and is expected to be extra large sized, 100+ when fully grown. I am smart and sweet and will be great with another dog to play with, a confident and social dog will help me be social too. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
NAME: Mark Ikagami LITTER: He is part of our "Real Genius" litter. AGE/GENDER: Baby (born 9/9/2022), male BREED: Based on the DNA, Mark is a Great Dane, shepherd, lab, husky mix TEMPERAMENT: Playful and mischievous HOUSE TRAINING: Not yet! He is a baby so he'll need a consistent schedule with multiple opportunities daily to go outside while he works on it. Puppies should not be considered reliable in regard to housetraining until 6-12 months of age. They're a lot like toddlers, who require diapers! CRATE TRAINING: Good, he's young and trainable! OTHER DOGS: Good! He will need continued socialization, like all puppies! CATS: Good! Continued socialization will be important! CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 12 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00 HEALTH: Mark is healthy! Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Mark is a sweet little boy, but he can be nervous in new situations. He does need a dog-savvy owner with a mentor dog who can help Mark get the confidence he needs to be the best dog that he can be. He's very treat and affection motivated. He wants nothing more than to please the people who help make him feel secure. He can make friends quickly with the right treatment and patience. He is very dog social and is great with dogs of all ages and sizes, but as he is a growing boy, he just needs to be reminded of his size. After playing, he's happy to lie next to you and be the good boy that he is!   Mark is a puppy so he's playful and has a lot of puppy energy! He is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. His forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that he grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. He will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.   Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet!   For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org.   Thank you for considering adopting a dog in need!   Woof,   The Motley Zoo CrewSeptember 28, 2023, 1:06 am

Story
*Currently fostered in HOUSTON TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport. Provide a zoom call for you to virtually meet prior to adoption This cuddly, happy go lucky puppy has a pretty sad origin story. He was spotted on the side of the road, leashed to a crate, with all of his items inside. His toys, bed, a bag of food and water bowl all left there on the road side along with him. We were told about him from our family members who saw him as we went to lunch. When we finished a half hour later, we went to check it out and found only a pile of food and some scraps from the bag, and a bowl of water. Clearly thinking someone had come by and picked up, only to see him standing nearby, panting from the heat. Someone had stolen all his items, but left him behind AGAIN! We couldn't just leave him behind after that. So, meet Sokka! This sweet baby is just a cuddle boy looking for a home to call his own! So far, he is loving, well mannered, and super friendly. He likes other dogs, and has met large and small and been great. He clearly hasn't had much interactions with cats, but is respectful and quick to learn so socialization should lead to a healthy friendship! He also has spent time with children and absolutely adores them! So a family home would do great for Sokka! Sokka loves to play and is always ready to have some fun. He doesn't have a favorite toy, because he loves them all! He will even play with sticks if there isn't one around and loves to play fetch! Sokka is all about his people and if he has the choice will stick by their side through any adventure. Though he is just a puppy, he is already learning his basic obedience. He knows how to sit, and to settle when he's being too hyper. He also is fully crate trained and when we tell him it's time to sleep or eat, we say kennel up and he goes to his crate. He is also leash trained and about 90% housebroken! Sokka is fully vetted, meaning he is current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Hello thanks for stopping by our page! Guessing you want to know all about us so let’s dive right in! First things first is we are the perfect old ladies that get along with anyone and everything we meet! Were dog, cat, and kid friendly. We’re both fully potty trained and crate trained. It’s quite cute actually cause we both like to curl up into balls next to eachother in the same crate. We both know sit as well and am starting to learn other tricks with our foster. We are very very good and praise motivated which makes training a breeze. We also both love to please our owners. We are also leash trained and don’t pull at all and are great in the car making us the perfect to take along anywhere dogs. We love meeting new dogs and would be awesome dog park dogs! We love to play and are great at meeting dogs and we become instant friends. Cats are great too and we currently live with one but we tend to just ignore them since they don’t like to play. Our foster says we’re like two pees in a pod and share the same brain cell but it’s cute due to our big size difference. Soka is definitely the leader out of the two of us and nala always looks to her when she need comfort or reassurance. We would thrive in any home as long as they take us on our daily walks and give us lots of cuddles. We are low to medium energy dogs so would be great for an older couple or people with kids. Now that you know all about us how bout adding these two old ladies to your family? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
