Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Animal Profile: Scooby is an estimated 8-month-old 52 lb neutered male Dane mix who was taken in as a stray to the very crowded San Bernadino city shelter, adopted and returned a month or so later because the resident chihuahua was not accepting of the big new puppy.  Foster Update: Scooby is such a love! He craves attention, but not annoyingly so. He has been a doll meeting new people and dogs in the home. He seems to prefer larger dogs to smaller dogs who bark at him. Little yappy dogs make him anxious (and who can blame him?). Scooby was listed as a Dane but we could see some Sharpei in hm; he's not going to be a giant dog -- perhaps around 70 lbs when full grown. Scooby is energetic when outside and loves to play chase and wrestle with willing canine companions. He has a confident personality and takes cues from other dogs well. When he's inside he has a great "chill setting" and loves to share the giant dog bed with his Dane buddy. He is doing great in the crate, settling with only mild complaints, and is fully potty trained. Scooby is great on leash: he does not pull and walks more or less by your side. Scooby has an adorable squeaky puppy voice and will follow the resident dogs in shrieking at squirrels running along the fence. His ideal adopter would likely have a single family residence with a fenced yard for romping and a canine friend or two to play with.  Scooby is full of joy and love; everyone who has met him falls in love with him.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from San Bernardino city shelter and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 6/16/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. July 22, 2024, 1:18 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Kyra! I’m an 8 year old Great Dane weighing about 100 pounds. I know I’m a little older, but don’t let that fool you, I’m full of energy, healthy, and love to go on walks. I’m very friendly with everyone, cats, kids, dogs, and even a pig! I know sit, speak, shake, and stay. I walk great on a leash. I am fully potty trained and will tell you when I need to go. I prefer to have my own space when I eat, and I don't like sharing my kennel as it's my safe space. Overall I'm the best girl though and I’d love a home and family to spend the rest of my golden years with.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.July 21, 2024, 10:31 pm

He is a sweet and gorgeous love bug, who simply wants love back. In addition, he is house and leash trained.
