Story
NEWBIE ALERT!! Meet Cosmo! This boy is coming to us from a local overcrowded shelter. We are told he’s a Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix. He’s 12 weeks old,  11 lbs, fluffy and as cute as they come. Sweet and cuddly. We expect he will be a medium to large size adult. He will be ready next week once he’s had 2 rounds of vaccines and he is altered. Get your apps in now. We are reserving to the perfect forever home!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $145 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Story
UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Gia. This sweet girl and her siblings found themselves at a local overcrowded shelter! They are adorable Great Pyrenees mix - we think with lab. They were extremely thin but have put on weight and are loving the good life. They are around 4-5 months and 25ish lbs and we think will be more on the lab size as an adult, but they have double dew claws which is definitely a GP trait so their size may fool us! They are playful and sweet. They are utd, altered and ready for their forever homes!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply!
