UPDATE!! Meet Gia. This sweet girl and her siblings found themselves at a local overcrowded shelter! They are adorable Great Pyrenees mix - we think with lab. They were extremely thin but have put on weight and are loving the good life. They are around 12-14 weeks old. Gia weighs 13 lbs and we think will be more on the lab size as an adult, but they have double dew claws which is definitely a GP trait so their size may fool us! They are playful and sweet. They are utd, altered and ready for their forever homes!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! He is sweet and gentle and would make a great addition to almost any home. Due to his size (84 pounds) and breed, we do feel that a home with a yard is needed. Story
So I’ve had this dog since she was 5 weeks old, I was 14 and she was a gift. Shes grown into an amazing dog, incredibly loyal, and has an instinct to protect her people ive been trying to work with. I love this dog, she lays with me while i fall asleep and then goes to ‘patrol’ the house and nap in random places. I know she needs a yard, shes a yard dog and loves running and rolling in the grass. Shed also do infenently better in a home with no other dogs and a person who knows dog body language and can confidently handle them. Shes not an everyone dog she is a her people dog and it does usually take a few meetings for her to fully warm up but once she does you see her whole face change and shell love you forever(doesn’t mean she wont give you a hard time though she is stubborn). She has some attatchment/anxiety issues and can be territorial when it comes to other animals which is the main reason im trying to find arrangements now before i move and shes left with them
