UPDATE!! Meet Wallie. This boy and his siblings were saved from a not so good situation! They are 12 week old Great Pyrenees!  Sadly, Wallie caught an infection while in utero that left her with some neurological deficits. When he arrived he couldn’t walk but now is pretty much fully normal. He is deaf. He’s completed antibiotics and vitamin injections and is pretty much a normal boy besides his hearing loss and a little wobbly when excited. He likely will always have some special needs. He’s extremely sweet and cuddly. He is around 15lbs.  He is great with dogs and cats and is currently being exposed to Farm animals. He is utd, neutered and ready for his forever home! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $145 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Story
UPDATE!! Meet Stellie! This sweet girl and her siblings were saved from a not so good situation. They are gorgeous Great Pyrenees mix. They are 13 weeks old and Stellie is the only girl and middle child at 14 lbs. She has medium length hair and is so sweet and the most outgoing. They are Ute, dewormed and  altered. They are going to be a large to extra large sized adult. Stellie has a slimmer build over her brothers, as to be expected. They are all pretty mellow for their age and very smart and eager. They have picked up on going out the doggy door on the first day. They of course are puppies and will still need training. They are great with all size dogs and cats and have been exposed to livestock. Get your apps in now on these beauties. They will make the perfect addition to almost any family with love and time to give!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. Story
Hello! This is Nash… I adopted him over a year ago from the sweetest family. He is a very sweet boy who loves card rides and walks. I recently got a new job and am not home enough to be the father he needs or deserves. He is very good with people and all animals. He listens, loves treats, and running and chasing you outside. He recently didn’t like the food I was giving him and he lost some weight but I found new food he LOVES and currently beefing him back up. Nash lives at home with 2 cats and another dog as well and gets along with all 3 very very well. He is also a very good guard dog and has a very loud deep bark.Nash doesn’t like thunderstorms or fireworks as he will probably go hide in the corner of the room until it is over. He also has social anxiety, and me being gone for so long everyday with this new job, I feel 10x worse leaving him at home. My name is Will and my number is +(xxx) xxx-xxxx 5 please reach out if interested in adopting Nash.
