Both these beautiful girls were rescued off a major highway after nearly being hit be an 18 wheeler truck. They definitely have been well cared for but no one has come to claim them and they deserve to have a permanent home. They do NOT have to be adopted together and will only be adopted as pets NOT working dogs.

This handsome fella is Dukey; he’s a 1 ½ year old mix of Great Pyr and Anatolian Shepherd. He was missing from his original home for some time and returned extremely thin and missing hair. His owners surrendered him to us and he’s now 50 pounds on his way to about 60, and his coat is filling in nicely! A good boy, he is sweet, friendly, gives shakes, and is very loving and gentle. He is not fond of other dogs, however, so, although we’re working on this, at this point he should be the only dog in the home. He is a fine boy who needs a home with a devoted family! (posted 6/26/26, ME) ' ' ' 'Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $170.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **August 24, 2026, 4:55 am

Look at this Ham! Galaxy has stolen the hearts of everyone of our staff members and volunteers with how goofy he is. Galaxy is barely 5 months old and 55 lbs already, he is going to be a large dog. Galaxy does not quite fit into his legs and paws yet so he has the goofiest run, he is good with cats, dogs and children and very submissive. Galaxys Story: Galaxy was at Huntsville Animal Services when they reached critical capacity level 4. Galaxy was so shut down he wouldn't even walk up to the kennel to great us, just laid on the floor shaking. We had to carry him out of the shelter. Since being with us he has opened up so much, his personality has blossomed. Come meet this boy, he will surely steal your heart.
