Story
Meet Lambert! Found as a stray, skinny and matted, Lambert is a sweet, handsome boy who is ready to meet his new forever family. Lambert is a big teddy bear who loves to be scratched and snuggled. He is 65lbs of pure love, and still has some filling out to do. He adores everyone he has ever met: adults, kids, dogs, chickens, and cats alike! Lambert is mostly house trained, but still forgets occasionally, especially when the weather is wet and he’d rather not go outside. He is well mannered with a calm personality, never jumps, rarely barks, sleeps all night (but is an early riser), and tolerates a crate when left alone. He loves to nap wherever his people are, and he is ready to be your new best friend! Lambert is probably a Great Pyrenees so he is LARGE! He is fully vetted: neutered, up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He is being fostered in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
The only reason we are putting Scooby up for adoption is because we are relocating for my husband’s job. Unfortunately, we can’t take him and his brother (Jer) who is also available for rehoming. Scooby is the sweetest dog who loves back scratches and lots of attention. He loves to play fetch but he is a bit iffy on returning the toy to you. He will be a loyal dog to any family. Scooby is a little over a year old and had been around kids, dogs, and goats. Scooby is not neutered, but we will cover the cost to neuter if you go through our vet in Hazel Green, AL.

Story
This is Jer! The only reason we are rehoming Jer is because we are relocating for my husband’s job. Jer is a little over a year old. Jer would make a great friend to any family. Jer is super sweet and playful. He loves to watch my son play baseball and will retrieve baseballs.. but is questionable about returning them. Also Jer loves crocs or flips flops so make sure to keep those out of sight. Jer has been around kids, dogs and goats. Jer and his brother Scooby are available for rehoming. Jer is not neutered, but we will cover the cost to neuter if you go through our vet in Hazel Green, AL.

Story
No small children, fragile humans, cats or dogs smaller than him. He's large and will bowl them over, playing, which he likes to do. Good in house, loving guy who wants to snuggle with you to watch TV if your lap can hold him. House trained, listens well, loves hugs, does well on leash, smart and cuddly. Loves water and fetch, also loves toys.Great with other larger dogs and fine with cats.Needs lots of room to run and a sturdy fence. He's a great family dog and HATES to be confined in a crate.I mean he'll fight going into one and we had to put him in backwards in order to travel (but it was rather small for him!).He was FINE in the kennel at the shelter and in boarding, so there's that. A crate *that fits* is often necessary, but prefers someone home to be with him! And who wouldn't? Fully vetted. Apply online MadisonARF.orgCould also use a foster home and we provide whatever's needed for that.
