Story
Meet Lambert! Found as a stray, skinny and matted, Lambert is a sweet, handsome boy who is ready to meet his new forever family. Lambert is a big teddy bear who loves to be scratched and snuggled. He is 65lbs of pure love, and still has some filling out to do. He adores everyone he has ever met: adults, kids, dogs, chickens, and cats alike! Lambert is mostly house trained, but still forgets occasionally, especially when the weather is wet and he’d rather not go outside. He is well mannered with a calm personality, never jumps, rarely barks, sleeps all night (but is an early riser), and tolerates a crate when left alone. He loves to nap wherever his people are, and he is ready to be your new best friend! Lambert is probably a Great Pyrenees so he is LARGE! He is fully vetted: neutered, up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He is being fostered in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
Coco is a seven year old Great Pyrenees Guardian dog. He keeps coyotes and other wild animals off our ten acres. Coco loves attention but is not keen of other male dogs. We are giving up farm life and moving to an adult community. Coco would not be happy in that lifestyle. He needs to stay where he can protect your property.

Our litter of A puppies are just the sweetest, most loving little fluff balls! Their mama was a 40lb white lab/hound mix, and while dad is unknown, we believe he most likely had pyrenees in him. As a result, we believe the pups will grow up to be mid-to-larger breed adults. They are super social pups who will need all the basic puppy training and love.

Story
No small children, fragile humans, cats or dogs smaller than him because he was taught to jump on people for hugs, although we are trying to break him of that. Then he will sit and shake, which is, of course, fine. Afterwards, he'll fall over to lie down. He's simply a laid back goof ball. He'd bowl over a small person or the elderly by jumping for a hug and not mean to.Good in house, loving guy who wants to snuggle with you to watch TV if your lap can hold him. House trained, listens well, loves hugs (too much) does well on leash, smart and cuddly. Loves water and fetch, also loves toys.Great with other larger dogs and fine with cats.Needs lots of room to run and a sturdy fence. He's a great family dog and HATES to be confined in a crate.I mean he'll fight going into one and we had to put him in backwards in order to travel (but it was rather small for him, so that might be the reason!).He was FINE in the kennel at the shelter and in boarding, so there's that. A crate *that fits* is often necessary, but prefers someone home to be with him! And who wouldn't? Fully vetted and more than ready for a home to call his very own or at least a foster home and we provide whatever is needed for the foster home.. Apply online MadisonARF.org
