Story
We're thrilled to announce our awesome "Go Big and Go Home" adoption special! We have a bunch of incredible dogs who weigh over 50 pounds that are eagerly waiting to find their forever homes. And guess what? Starting now until the end of February, you can take one of these amazing companions home for just $99! How amazing is that? Don't let this fantastic opportunity pass you by to bring home a furry friend with a big heart. Peach is very loyal and has a lot of energy! She loves going on car rides and playing with tennis balls in the backyard. She also enjoys chew treats and walks. At night, she can be found snuggling next to her foster dad. She would make a loving addition to the right home! All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on that day. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart: Park in the PetSmart Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. PCH supports a 21-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we are not able to provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Thank you, Pet Central Helps!

Story
Disney is a 6 year old male. He has been waiting for his perfect home for a very long time. He is a good boy most of the time but can present some challenges which include the behavior of an untrained, goofy puppy at times. We have learned what triggers that behavior and how to avoid and stop it. Disney is our Peter Pan Pyr. He can't seem to 100% grow up, still loves toys and is a fun happy boy. Disney has matured into a very handsome 90 pounds. We will be looking for an experienced adult only home committed to house training (manners) and working obedience into his everyday life. He needs structure and routine. Disney does have house expereince, is fine in a crate for a reasonable length of time, loves car rides and is quite the affectionate boy. He is good for the groomer and vet, walks well on leash with the right collar and does well with most other dogs. Even though he is good with most all other dogs he prefers human attention. His best match will be as an only dog home with play dates or doggy day care to give him some canine socialization. If placed with another dog, a resident female would be his best match. Please contact us if interested in adopting, fostering to adopt or fostering. Adoption info and application can be found at gprci.com Securely fenced yard for safe outside potty and play time will be required.

Story
This beautiful young man deserves a very soft place to land. He came to us at the first of the year as a victim of being caught in a domestic abuse situation. He arrived severely emaciated weighing in at 42 pounds, shy with new people and frightened of men in particular. He has come so far in such a short time but will need patience and TLC to continue his journey back to fully trusting that life is good. Buster now weighs in at 75 pounds and is an energetic, playful youngster. He is still shy with strangers at first but once acquainted, is just the sweetest boy. His best match long term, if placed in a home with a resident dog, will be a female canine companion (spayed of course) and securely fenced yard will be required for safe outside daytime. He has lived with children of all ages and is reportedly fine with cats. If interested in adopting Buster please visit gprci.com and complete an adoption application. Email gprci.info@gmail.com with any questions.

Story
We will never understand how this super sweet pup was never claimed from our local animal control. Chilly Bones (proudly named by my 3 year old grandson) is just a doll. He will be completely ready for adoption by the end of the month after his neuter and finishing his vet care and we would love to have a home lined up for him. Chilly is friendly and outgoing to everyone he meets. Currently weighs 65 pounds at about 7-8 months and is steadily catching up after arriving underweight. In the long term he would match up best to a spayed female companion/playmate. A securely fenced yard is required for safe outside play time. If interested in adopting Chilly Bones, please visit gprci.com and complete an adoption application. Questions about Chilly can be emailed to gprci.info@gmail.com
