Story
Meet L’Oreal a 5-month-old Pyrenees mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. She was adopted as a tiny puppy from a high-kill shelter and, sadly, returned simply because she was getting bigger than expected. Their loss is absolutely someone else’s perfect adventure buddy. L’Oreal is gentle, affectionate, and still very much a happy puppy. She’s ready for summer shenanigans hiking trails, patio hangs, backyard fetch, or just being your shadow wherever you go. She’s the kind of girl who just wants to be included and loved. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to head home. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion for all your warm-weather adventures, she’s your girl. If you’re interested, contact Jenn and Hannah at Ruffners1880@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $300. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming

Story
Meet Chloe — The Sweetest Giant You’ll Ever Love Chloe is a breathtaking Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart every bit as big as her 95‑pound body. Estimated to be around 2–3 years old, she’s a young, gentle giant who’s blossoming into her silly, affectionate self more and more each day. This girl LOVES her people. If you move, she moves — happily following you from room to room just to be part of your day. One moment she’s cracking you up with her clumsy zoomies, and the next she’s leaning in for the softest, sweetest cuddles. Chloe is doing wonderfully on leash walks and enjoys exploring the world at her own pace. She’s not a fan of the crate, so she’ll thrive in a home where she can have a comfy spot of her own without needing to be confined. Because of her size and enthusiastic (sometimes adorably awkward) play style, Chloe is looking for a home without small children. Adults or older kids who understand big dogs will be the perfect match for her. With patience, love, and continued confidence‑building, Chloe will reward her forever family with unwavering loyalty, endless laughs, and a whole lot of love. If you’re searching for a tenderhearted, goofy, lovable giant who will adore you with her whole heart, Chloe might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application. Your application will be reviewed by our team, and if it is a good fit, we will send it to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $250 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe the breed, since our pups all come from shelters, we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *Please note that we are a foster home-based rescue, and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
