Story
Ruger is a very loving lap dog. He loves to lay on the couch with you and rest his head on your lap. He loves to be outside in his fenced in yard. He has to have fenced in yard or he will run. He requires lots of toys to chew on when he is outside or he gets bored and digs. Rugers major handicap is that he is terrified of thunderstorms. Even if is is just lightning outside he is terrified. He does not like the forth of July. Too loud. Ruger needs to have his own food dish because he has food aggression. Ruger is very protective of his yard and house. He doesn't like strangers in his yard but if you meet that same stranger on a walk the stranger is his buddy. So he likes people when they are not in his yard. Ruger will walk on a leash but he pulls and is very strong. Ruger will take you for a walk. Ruger has never been around cats, other dogs, or children.
