Story
Meet Perry, your future sunshine-loving shadow and loyal best friend. Perry is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart and then never leaves your side. He’s fully housebroken, happily settles into his kennel when needed, and already knows sit and down—with wait currently in progress. He’s eager to please and loves learning, especially when it means making his people proud. This sweet boy gets along wonderfully with dogs and children, making him an easy addition to many types of families. Perry’s personality is gentle and affectionate—he simply loves being near his humans. Wherever you go, he’s content to follow along and entertain himself nearby, just happy to share the same space with you. Perry’s favorite activities are delightfully simple. He enjoys playing outside, exploring the yard, and soaking up warm sunny days. When playtime is over, you’ll find him curled up on his bed, happily chewing on his toys or dozing off in total contentment. He even enjoys being brushed, soaking up the attention like the pampered pup he deserves to be. His energy level is wonderfully chill—he’ll enjoy short bursts of play and exploring, but his true passion is relaxing and enjoying life at an easy pace. In the winter, Perry revealed his surprisingly serious “yard supervisor” side. He claimed a snow mound as his lookout spot and faithfully watched over the yard from his frosty throne. Even as the mound melted into little more than a scattered patch of snow, Perry stayed loyal to his post, keeping watch like the gentle guardian he is. One of our favorite Perry moments perfectly captures his soul: on a recent warm day, we set out an outdoor dog bed in the sunshine. Perry climbed up, stretched out, and slept peacefully for two whole hours. When the sun shifted, he woke up, Dragged his bed over to the new sunny spot, and settled right back down on it for another hour of bliss. If you’re looking for a professional sunbather and relaxation expert, Perry is your guy. Perry isn’t looking for perfection—he’s simply looking for his forever home, a place where he can follow his people, nap in the sun, keep watch over the yard, and feel safe and loved for the rest of his life. If your home could use a gentle companion with a warm heart and an even warmer love for sunshine, Perry is waiting to meet you. Story
Meet Theo — the gentle giant with a laid&#226&#128&#145back soul Theo is a calm, easygoing sweetheart who loves nothing more than spending his days relaxing in the house or lounging in the yard. He is a 4-year-old Great Pyreneese who weighs 103 lbs.  In his foster home, he sleeps wherever he pleases and settles in comfortably. He may have a bit of initial marking in a new environment, but a belly band can help while he adjusts. This big guy is wonderful with other dogs and enjoys their company. He also loves car rides and knows a few tricks, adding to his charm. Despite his mellow nature, Theo does like to “talk,” and because of his size and vocal personality, he’ll need a home without shared walls. While a fenced yard isn’t required, it would be ideal. Theo truly enjoys running around outside or simply hanging out in the yard, taking in the world at his own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle, relaxed companion who brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes, Theo might be the perfect match for your home. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Everest is a wonderful and hilarious companion. He is still growing and is a super lanky boy. He is about 6 months old! He is so sweet and can be just the best boy. He is playful and very vocal during (sounds like Chewbacca)! He is expected to be a large dog and needs room to run but in a tall fenced in area. He is still working on potty training but will let you know when he needs to go! He has been great with both dogs and cats and people of course! Divorcing has meant we are unable to care for the dogs alone with our current jobs. Everest deserves better than just one of us can provide. We are hoping to find an active family for this guy. He would also do great on a farm.
