Story
Orange is a wonderful puppy. He enjoys playing with his sister, but seems to enjoy quiet moments with his head in your lap even more. He is a snuggly puppy who lives for affection. He came to us from our two dogs who we failed to get fixed and is now looking for a new home as I have to move.

Story
Marshall is a sweet loving giant of a lap dog. He is ok with other dogs, but struggles with food aggression, but only to other dogs. I can take his food from him and move him and he isn't aggressive towards me, but will snap at another dog that comes by. I love him, but am looking to move so I can only keep one.

Story
Harvey is six years old, and we have had him since he was a puppy. We are very sad to have to rehome him, but we are moving from IN to OR due to job changes. We will need to rent a home for awhile, and it is extremely difficult to find renters that will allow big dogs. He weighs 130 pounds. Harvey is a good boy. He's fairly independent but does like to snuggle at times. He is an inside dog and is quite spoiled. He loves bacon! He tires easily and doesn't like to walk very far. He is quite vocal at times. We will miss him dearly but cannot take him along. He needs a fenced area. He is quite a loveable ball of fur!

Story
Gracie is a 4 year old (ish) Great Pyrenees or a mix with the smaller cousin of the pyrs, Maremma. She has been with us for over a year because she is PERFECT. She is a wash and go type of girl. She doesn't require a fancy groom, although she would sure love one! She currently lives with her foster family on a farm. But, Gracie is not a farm girl. She would love a very large, fenced yard to RUN! But her absolute favorite is our daily hikes through our woods. Gracie is not the kind of girl that would enjoy dog parks. She prefers non-strangers. She does well with dogs of all sizes. And would enjoy a playful companion dog! She also really likes cats and will gladly share a spot on her dog bed. Gracie is highly intelligent. Very easy to train. And when she doesn't like your request, she will do it anyway, but she has a funny tooth she shows to explain her displeasure in following your instructions. Housebroken 100% with zero accidents ever. Child safe. Due to her size, 8 year old and up would be best. Gracie is walked with a well fitting harness. She has zero recall and will run forever. Gracie is also not small animal safe. Kittens or puppies under weaning age are a no. She would love someone who works from home or is home most of the time. She is a people gal and prefers to be in the same room.     We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to ownedbycaninesandlovit@yahoo.com   September 15, 2023, 7:54 am
