Story
Meet Smiggle! We adopted this goofy big fella in November 2024. He's a pure bred Great Pyrenees and carries all Great Pyr traits. While he took some time to get to know us, he's become a great family dog. He was rescued from a breeder as a puppy while very malnourished. This caused him to have stunted growth, but he's still 80lbs and fully grown. He'll be 3 on March 11. Which leads me to our unfortunate situation. He doesn't get along with the dogs next door and we're fearful he'll escape the house and hurt them. We've found that if a dog shows aggression towards him, he'll react. If a dog is calm, he's a gentle giant. He's best friends with the dog on the other side of our house. He would thrive in a quiet household with an owner who's at home a lot. Kids are fine, but understand his size relative to the kids. Please contact me for additional details.

Story
Meet Artica! Artica is one of six adorable puppies born to sweet mama Daisy Mae, and this Great Pyrenees mix is already stealing hearts. With her fluffy white-and-cream coat and bright, curious spirit, Artica is equal parts playful explorer and cozy cuddle bug. Shes a rambunctious girl who loves romping around the backyard and roughhousing with her siblings. If something catches her eye, you can bet shes off to investigate! When playtime winds down, Artica is happy to snuggle right up for a well-earned nap. Artica is doing great in her foster homeshe gets along wonderfully with cats, other dogs, and kids. Shes also working hard on potty training and has started going to the door when she needs to go out. Her future family will need to continue this training, and ARPO strongly recommends puppy and basic obedience classes to set her up for success. Her ideal forever home will have a fenced-in yard, lots of love to give, and plenty of patience for all the joys (and challenges!) of puppyhood. Artica was born on 11/27/25 and has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her puppy vaccines. If youre ready for fluff, fun, and a lifetime of love, Artica might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Story
Kane is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Kane is an 8 year old neutered male. His owner died last year and we took him to try and find a home. He is very shy at first but warms up slowly and is very loveable. He does well with large animals. He was raised on a horse farm with his 8 year old sister, unfortunately his sister Izzy passed shortly after his owner. He would do well inside or outside. Secured fencing is a must. He would have to be homed with his 9 year old sister Meeko who is Anatolian Shepard. Meeko is about 90 lbs. Kane is around 110+. He does not do well with chickens or small farm animals. He chases them.If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE TEXT 812-361-9788 OR EMAIL shanzboyzrule@yahoo.com***Please contact the owner directly***
