Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking-e! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can enjoy the outdoors because I do not like it indoors at all. I do want to be with my people. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
Meet the Poison Pups! Toxic names - totally harmless cuddles. These Great Pyrenees pups were born on November 24th, 2025. They are as sweet as they are fluffy. They love to romp around the house and see what puppy trouble they can get into, but once they are tired, they love nothing more than to cuddle up in the lap of their foster family. We hope no one tells them that pretty soon they will be far too big to be lap dogs! The poison pups have been socialized with other dogs, kids and cats in their foster home. They have done well with everyone they've met and are curious about everyone and everything! Because of their breed and their size, the poison pups would do best in homes with fenced in yards as they love to roam the yard and need lots of room to grow! These will be large dogs when they are full grown, will require lifelong grooming and will likely have some personality traits that are consistent with that of their breed, so potential families will need to take these things into consideration when applying for these adorable fluffs! The Poison pups can't wait to meet you! Once exposed, you’ll never want the antidote! If these puppies seem like the right fit for your family - apply today! Their adoption fees are $400. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
