Story
Meet Moose!   Moose is a 10-month-old, 60ish lb Great Pyrenees mix who thinks he’s a lap dog… and honestly, he’s working on convincing the world that size doesn’t matter. This big, fluffy goofball is absolutely gorgeous and has the personality to match — goofy, affectionate, and always ready to make you laugh.   He loves kids (older kids are best — classic Pyr “paw slap” included!), other dogs, and has even been around chickens, where he behaved like the gentle giant he is. Moose is also toy-obsessed — balls, stuffies, your kids’ favorite plushies… if it squeaks or rolls, he’s in love. Fair warning: he might steal those stuffed animals, but with those puppy eyes, you’ll forgive him.   Moose is smart too — he already knows sit, paw, and come; he has excellent indoor manners and is also fine in a crate. Moose just needs a little more practice on the leash (hey, he’s still a 10-month-old puppy!).   And yes… he has a tiny counter-surfing problem. Can you really blame him? Big puppy + big appetite = a few snacks here and there.   When he’s not romping with his doggy friends or plotting his next toy heist, Moose loves squeezing himself into your lap, proving that no amount of fluff can stop him from being a loving, velcro puppy.   If you’re ready for a gentle, playful, slightly mischievous, totally lovable giant to steal your heart (and maybe your stuffed animals), Moose is your guy!  Apply online at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/60814/generic ##2631954##

Story
Handsome Ozzy is searching for his forever home and is available to meet you! He is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees, 2 years old, weighs 85 lbs, and is fully vetted and microchipped. Ozzy will thrive well in a rural setting, a quieter neighborhood with less stimulation from busy roads and frequent foot traffic. Ozzy is most content when there isn’t continuous outside stimulation from close neighbors, cars, dogs walking by or kids playing. When it’s quiet, he is so happy to just chill. He enjoys going for car rides and absolutely loves going for walks and walks well on leash using a gentle leader. He gets along with other dogs who he has established a relationship with and will play and romp with them. His favorite pastime is hanging outside (when it isn’t too hot) where he can enjoy his surroundings. Ozzy loves to play with his toys and often chews on his elk antlers throughout the day. We are looking for a savvy home, one that is fully fenced in (no invisible fence), with no children under the age of 16. Ozzy likes to play and do doggy things with people and dogs he knows but there are times when he prefers his space and personal downtime. Better said, Ozzy is affectionate and loving, but he does have the Great Pyrenees independence trait so his home would need to recognize and understand that about his breed. He can be aloof toward people he is meeting for the first time as he takes time to assess his surroundings. Ozzy is working on his food bowl aggression and has improved a great deal through training and consistency. His home would need to be mindful of this (especially if another dog is in the home) and continue working with him in this area. He does take food gently from your hand. We do not know how Ozzy is with cats so we would say no cats is best at this time. If interested in meeting Ozzy and learning more about him, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Please Note: We are always in need of foster homes for our dogs. If you're interested in making a difference in a dog’s life, we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent.

Story
Martha is a 2.5 year old great Pyrenees mix. We have had her since she was 12 weeks old. She is a great dog as long as she has a structured environment. Due to her current living situation, she has not been thriving and would benefit from more attention and routine. Martha would do best in a single family home, we currently don't know how she is with children under the age of 12 but is good with other dogs and cats. A fenced in yard would be preferable, she loves to break through her electric fence to be with people she loves. Martha is very lovable and can chill out on the couch but is also a great adventure buddy for hikes in the woods.

Story
We are a group of happy, playful puppies full of curiosity and joy! Our days are spent pouncing, wrestling, playing tug-of-war, and exploring every nook and corner of the house. Adventure is our favorite job, and we take it very seriously. Food is another one of our great loves! Any trip to the kitchen must mean mealtime, and we’re happy to let you know just how hungry we are—even if we just finished eating. We are great with other dogs and kids, making us wonderful additions to families of all sizes. Our mama is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, and our dad is a Catahoula Leopard Dog, which means we’re expected to grow into large, strong, and loyal companions. With our playful personalities and affectionate nature, we’re ready to grow up in loving forever homes that can keep up with our energy and big hearts. Could one of us be the perfect addition to your family? Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
