Hello. My name is Hardy! I'm a calmer puppy at almost 1 year old and 64 pounds. I have been told that I'm a master snuggler and like nothing more than being next to my people. I think I might like my foster a bit too much. What does “velcro dog” mean? I do well with cats, though there isn't one at my current foster's house. I don't have much experience walking on a leash, but I don't pull and enjoy looking at the big, wide world. Each day I’m getting better at walking and not stopping in front of you. I’m told that is annoying! And I really love seeing other dogs. They all look like potential playmates. I am still a puppy, so I'm learning what I can and can not chew in the house and found that shoes and socks are really interesting chew toys. I love playing with my foster sister! I try my best to do what I’m told, like “no jumping” and “out of the kitchen”, but it’s hard to contain my excitement sometimes. Therefore, I might be a bit much for smaller children. I haven't had any accidents in the house and go out and do my business in my foster's fenced yard. I’ve also started peeing on walks. That whole thing is new for me. I'm also working on kennel training. I don't mind going into my kennel and hanging out in there if you are home, but I REALLY don’t want you to leave me in there when you leave the house! I’m worried you might not come back!! I want to trust that you will always come home, but it will take some time.
