Story
We adopted Mason seven years ago from a local rescue. He has attended puppy classes and basic obedience classes through TCOTC. We have a total of two dogs and a cat. Mason gets along with them fine but he has been attacked by a different dog in his past. This has resulted in Mason being leash aggressive and reactive. We don’t take him for walks because there are loose dogs in our neighborhood and frankly, we just don’t trust other dogs. We have a big fenced in backyard, which he loves. We would recommend a home with no small children. We have a 17 month old toddler and Mason has had a couple of incidents with him where we have determined this is no longer a safe living situation. Mason is extremely smart, loyal, protective and he enjoys laying in the sun and playing with a stuffed toy or playing fetch with a ball or chewing a bone. He can be reactive and has some anxiety so he needs a patient, loving and understanding home with no young children living in the household.

Story
Hi, my name is Blaze! I am a handsome, affectionate, fun, goofy guy looking for my forever home! I am bigger than I appear in pictures but that does not stop me from wanting to snuggle in your lap.. all 100 lbs. of me! In fact, snuggling and being pet is my favorite thing! I love affection and am very loyal to my people! Some times it takes me a little while to get comfortable with new people but once I know I can trust you, we will be best friends! Another thing I love is toys! I like to play with them, chase them and chew on them. Give me a box of toys, and I am in heaven! I always dig for my favorite one and I am 100% successful, 100% of the time! I am 100% house-trained too! I LOVE to run in my fenced yard and my happiest place is to sit outside watching over my land. I walk well on a leash but when I see a little critter sometimes I wanna go for a run so I’m working on asking my foster parents first before I take off. I’d love to find a forever family that will keep me active and my brain working, I’m a very curious boy. I live at the rescue facility and have a nice big room all to my self with a comfy chair and some dog beds. I sleep quietly overnight and go in there during the day when my supervisor friends are working with the puppies. I have been learning some fun new tricks! I'm so smart because I already know how to sit, stay, down, shake, and roll over! Go me! I would do best in a home without other animals...I would just prefer to have all of your love and attention. My foster family thinks I am quite handsome! I have beautiful white, fur and am fluffy like a giant pillow. I guess you can say, I’m the total package - great looks and a great personality! Now I just need to find my forever family!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $300To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Well, hey there! I'm Janie, a friendly pup looking for my forever family!I recently came to Minnesota from Alabama and I love everyone I meet. I also love exploring in the grass, sniffing for treats, bedtime snuggles, and definitely squeakers! Really, all toys of any kind, sign me up!I currently live with my foster mom and dad, and their two dogs. They’re not puppies like me and they don’t wanna wrestle, but we’re pals and sometimes we play. They also have this weird small dog. The humans keep telling me it’s a cat, I don’t really understand. It’s friendly and soft like me. Sometimes I give it kisses, but it never wants to return the gesture. I also got to meet some big birds called chickens in the backyard. I’m pretty curious about them, but was told I should leave them alone. I’m fine with that. I get scared if they get too close. In fact, I can sometimes be a timid pup and like to take my time with new noises or really energetic dogs. I’ve heard I’m pretty submissive, and that’s probably true, but I love all the humans so much. My foster mom says I do great on my leash. What’s not to like? The leash always comes out when it’s time to go outside. Did I mention I love everything outside!? Sniffing in the woods? Great! Hiking trail? Let’s go! I also LOVE the water! My foster parents took me to a lake, and, WOW, I’m not sure I’ve ever been so excited! I already know how to swim, and I hear there are lots of lakes up here, so it’d be pretty cool to see more of them soon. After some outside time, I really like taking naps. I’m not picky about where I’ll take a snooze. My foster parents let me sleep by them in the office or on the couch, but sometimes the cool kitchen tile is my favorite. I prefer to go potty outside and whenever we go out there, I potty right away. Occasionally, I still get distracted and forget. My foster mom says I’m working on it and doing so good. She lets me snuggle with her at bedtime but says I have to sleep in my crate because then I’ll potty outside in the morning. I don’t mind. I can see the rest of my foster family close by. I sleep through the night and they bring me out when I wake up in the morning. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle pup who equally loves adventuring outside and snuggling on the couch, I’m your girl! Let’s meet soon!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. Macy - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The name Macy are known to have personality's that are talented, affectionate, reliable and charming. Well ok, that sums me up pretty much to a T. I'm all that and a great big bag of chips!!! I am an awesome gal that is well behaved, loving and and all around great family member. My foster mom has this to say about me - She is everything you would want in a companion-sweet, cuddle, loyal, protective, and gentle with small kids. She loves car rides, and is house trained. While we are at work she mostly just naps. She does not get on furniture or jump in greeting. Her worst habit is snoring. 💤 She is 5 years old this past January, and is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. If you are familiar with this breed you’ll know what great family dogs they are known to be, with Macy being no exception. I come in at a mild 100lbs, but don't you let that deter you, I know I'm a bigger gal and am very gentle. My 100lbs just means there is more of me to love you!!!!! I would make a pawsome companion to take on nature hikes and camping trips, neighborhood strolls and doggie park trips. You name the activity and if it includes you, I'm all in!!! With my many great personality traits and my beautiful good looks, I've got a lot going for me, except one thing....YOU!!
