My siblings have all been adopted and I’m patiently waiting for my turn. I’m so ready to explore the world with my forever person. Could it be you?! What makes me such an awesome girl you ask? Well…•I sleep in my kennel all night long!•I do great on a leash! I’m still learning what a harness is though... •I love being outside whether it’s going for a sniff walk or just sitting or laying in the grass observing and taking in the world around me. There’s so much to see! •I love to snuggle up on the couch and get belly rubs!• I am great with other dogs and know to be gentle when we first meet.•Got any squeaky toys, chew toys, or bully sticks? You’re my new BFF! After all, I do still have puppy teeth!•I do great in the car! I lay right down in the back seat and am ready to go wherever you want to take me. •I am trying my hardest on house training and I do my business outside as long as I’m kept on a schedule! I’m fully potty trained (yes, I’m very proud of that), I sleep peacefully through the night, and I’m happiest when I’m close to my people—whether that’s lounging on the couch or quietly keeping you company around the house.I’m very cuddly. I’ll happily lean into you for pets, rest my head in your lap, or just sit beside you soaking up the moment. Being around people is my favorite thing—I’m friendly, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend.Outside? Oh, that’s where my “enthusiastic dog” side shines! I’ve been saving my best cuddles just for you.***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Lenox is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once his treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once his adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on his treatment progress until he has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure his heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Lenox will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. My favorite place to be is right next to my people — I’m basically everyone’s shadow and love soaking up all the pets and attention I can get.I’m great with kids and love hanging out in their rooms while they watch TV, just relaxing on the floor nearby keeping them company. Meet Goose! He is a total sweetheart but we’re making the very difficult decision to re-home him. Goose turns 2 at the end of April – he is 98 lbs.; neutered, microchipped, crate trained (sleeps in one every night and doesn’t bark in it) and fully up to date on all shots. He is a happy, eager to please and goes to doggy daycare once a week and loves socialization. We have young kids (2&4) and live on a property that is constantly sending him into GP alert mode (coyotes and other wildlife). He has never harmed anyone, but the unpredictable nature of little kids around is tough with his size and puppy like behavior when he is excited or overstimulated. He would do well with older kids. He spends most of his day sleeping while we work from home and I’ve never known a dog who loves to cuddle as much as he does. He would do well in a home w dogs who like to play or as a solo dog. Highly recommended someone with GP experience. Happy to provide more on his background/ answer questions!

The good: Bucky is friendly, great with kids, dogs and cats, not a high energy guy, and is happy to lounge around or go on a walk. He’s a great dog just the usual case of not having enough time to put into training. He walks well on a leash and knows sit. I believe he would do best with another dog friend, he was very attached to our senior dog who passed away. He sleeps in his kennel at night and only barks to alert of someone nearby. The bad: Bucky marks when he’s inside, we have him wear a diaper when he’s in but hopefully someone could break him of this habit.

While that is not guaranteed, Lottie is expected to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Lottie will likely develop these traits as she matures. Because of this, she will do best in a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about the needs of guardian breeds. At this age, Lottie is a typical young puppy who enjoys being held, playing, and exploring her surroundings. As she grows, she will need structure, consistent training, and an environment suited for a large breed dog.
