Story
Meet Lily — the sweetest mama with a heart full of love. This brave mama raised 12 precious puppies all on her own before we rescued her — and now she deserves a loving home where she’s the star. Lily’s gentle, affectionate, and just a little shy at first — but once she realizes she’s safe, she warms up fast. She’s good with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and her calm, loving presence makes her a wonderful companion. She’s crate trained and potty trained, and she’s steadily learning leash manners and basic obedience. If you think Lily might be the one for you, you can apply for adoption here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NASD/Dog Let’s give this sweet mama the forever home she’s been longing for.

We have more dogs being turned into rescue. We will keep our site update as they come in, are vetted and determined ready to be adopted. If you have never had a Pyr Puppy you need to read this : http://www.nepyresq.org/page/i-want-a-great-pyrenees-puppy-50.html The application process is to go to our website and fill out an adoption application form. http://www.nepyresq.org/page/adoption-process-47.html We do not accept INVISIBLE fencing for the following reasons: 1) Most Pyrs ignore the pain and go through it. 2) This is a guardian breed and this fencing does not keep people or other animals out of your yard. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked. WE do not allow them to be tied out. It makes them aggressive. If you do not have a fenced yard then a fenced area would be acceptable. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
