Story
Arlo is a 1-2 year old, maybe 75 lb (hard to tell through all the fur) Great Pyrenees (we think). He has thick white fur with black contrast. He came to canine collective with his brother Barney. He seems to be typical of the breed in that he is a laid back guy who just likes being near people. He will come to you for pets even if you are a stranger. Such a sweet handsome guy! Those eyes seem to stare into your soul. He is good with other dogs and kids and is great on a leash. You can apply for him at CanineCollective.org.

Story
Barney is a big Ole mellow and gentle 90 plus pound guy that we think is 1-2 years old. Although he looks like a big heeler and/or blue tick coonhound, we think he actually has quite a bit of Great Pyrenees. He has a much more laid back personality, his fur is supersoft and thick and his brother Arlo looks even more like a GP We don't know for sure without a DNA test but we do know that Barney is 100% lovable. Barney just likes to be around people and loved. He is a true velcro dog. He just wants to be with you the whole time and is content with sitting with you and getting belly rubs. He is great with dogs and doesn't even mind when they are barking. He is good with kids (even toddlers) and doesn't bother cats. He is a real sweetheart and seems pretty l ow key. He knows sit and down but is learning to walk a little better on the leash. He does not pull and walks very calmly. When walking on the leash he kept leaning into the volunteer who was walking him, stopping and looking up with those sweet eyes.Barney would make a great family dog! You can apply for him at CanineCollective.org.

Story
This beautiful Pyrenees puppy is in need of a new home. She was adopted by a family to keep the family sheep safe. She does that well, but she also likes to run and they cannot keep her contained. The family fears for her safety and is choosing to surrender her so she can find a home with a fenced yard to keep her from running. Her name is Angel and she is about 9 months old. She is a lovely sweet girl that lives in the barn with the animals. She has been fine with the other dogs on the farm and loves all people. If you would like to know more about Angel or would like to meet her, you can apply at ricopetrecovery.org!
