Say Hello to Eva Rose! Eva is a 5 month old Great Pyrenees/ Norwegian Elkhound mix who is absolutely beautiful. She is the happiest little girl around and will keep you smiling all day long with her joyful disposition. Eva has never met a stranger and happily greets everyone with a wiggle of her bottom and pure excitement. She loves the company of other dogs and shares her toys nicely with them. She would probably do fine with a dog savvy cat. Eva is the perfect mix of playful puppy and laidback cuddle bug. She loves being outdoors, bones and treats but being with her people is her most favorite thing. Eva will likely weigh around 65-80 lbs full grown. Eva Rose is an all around amazing pup who would be a great addition to any home. Grits and determination!! That is the saying, right? To get anywhere you must have grits and determination?? Grits are good for you, ask any Southern mama :) You guessed it, my name is Grits and I have a LOT of determination! I came from the pound with HORRIFIC injuries related to a multiple dog attack :( And boy I was in pain and had horrible infections and was so so skinny and just sad... But the rescue peeps fixed me up! It took several weeks of LOVE, good nutrition, wound care and "heart repair" to return my zest for life and to see the glimmer of hope in my eyes... Now I am all fixed up, healthy and happy and READY for you!! Don't ever let me be out on the streets again, fighting off other dogs to live. Give me your COUCH, an air conditioner and lots of love and treats and I will be yours FUREVER!!! And speaking of fur, well, you know I am a Great Pyrenees and we SHED great amounts, so you must love me more than my hair!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Jack is our heart murmur baby. He came in with Suzy, Icee & Wynter as bottle babies. They have been adopted and he is now ready for his home. He was born 12/23/23 He has been seen by the Cardiologist @ Metropolitan Vet and she is very hopeful that he will outgrow it. There is no surgery or meds that he needs and she said no stipulations on activity. We prefer a fenced in yard for him. As you can see it does not set him back at all. He will need one more echocardiogram in the fall (Save A Mom will pay for) and he is getting neutered in a couple weeks. He has age appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, microchip, and started on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Adoption fee is $400.
