🐾✨ Meet Lark! ✨🐾 Say hello to Lark, a beautiful Great Pyrenees mix puppy with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Born around December 3rd, 2025, Lark is growing into a wonderful young pup who is ready to find the perfect family to call her own. With her soft, fluffy coat and sweet, soulful eyes, it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. 🤍🐶 Just like her name, Lark is a little song of joy—lighthearted, sweet, and always bringing a sense of calm happiness wherever she goes. 🎶💛 She has the loving, gentle nature Great Pyrenees mixes are known for. She enjoys spending time with people, playing, and then settling in for cozy cuddle time. She is great with other dogs and kids, making her a perfect companion for a family ready to welcome a loyal and affectionate pup. Lark is up to date on her shots and will be spayed when she reaches the appropriate age, which will be covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital in Wapakoneta. Because Lark is part Great Pyrenees, there will be adoption restrictions, and her adopter must have knowledge and understanding of the breed. Great Pyrenees are amazing, loyal dogs, but they do best with families who understand their unique traits—like their protective instincts, intelligence, and need for proper space, training, and guidance as they grow. With the right home, Lark will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion who will love and protect her family with her whole heart. Lark is looking for a family that will cherish her gentle spirit, embrace her breed, and give her a lifetime of love and belonging. In return, she promises soft snuggles, quiet loyalty, and a heart full of sweet “songs” just for you. 💕 🐶 If you think Lark might be the perfect addition to your family, she would love the chance to meet you and start her journey to a forever home. 🏡✨

❄️🐾 Meet Winter — Your Future Gentle Giant! 🐾❄️ Say hello to Winter, an absolutely adorable Great Pyrenees puppy with a heart as big as her paws! 🤍 She was born around September 25, 2025, and came to us from a local surrender of 7 Great Pyrenees puppies. Both of her parents are full Great Pyrenees, so she’s the real deal — fluffy, sweet, and destined to grow into a loyal, loving companion. 🏡 About Winter: Winter is doing wonderfully in her foster home and is already showing how smart she is! She is learning to use puppy pads indoors and is doing great with them. At night, she keeps her pen clean for the most part, which is a huge win for a puppy her age 👏 🐶 Personality & Playtime: Winter loves to play with the other dogs and puppies in her foster home and really enjoys being part of the pack. She’s a happy, playful girl who also has a gentle, sweet side that will melt your heart. 🧸 Training & Learning: She loves toys and is very treat motivated, making training a fun and positive experience. This girl is eager to learn and will thrive with continued consistency and patience. 🚗🐕 Still Learning: Winter isn’t quite sure about car rides or the leash yet, but she’s a baby and we are already working on helping her feel more confident with both. With time and positive reinforcement, she’ll get there! 🌳 Home Requirements: • Fenced-in yard required. • Puppies will only go to homes that meet certain requirements. • You must have knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. Winter is going to grow into a beautiful, loyal family dog who will do best with a family ready for a large-breed puppy and all the love, training, and adventure that comes with it. If you’re looking for a fluffy best friend to grow up with your family, Winter might be the one 🤍🐾

Story
We picked Winnie out as a puppy and brought her home to be a livestock guardian to our outdoor animals, which she has done a great job at that for just over 3 years. She always wants to be doing a job or interacting with us like a big puppy. She's extremely sweet and loves to cuddle, and would definitely be a lap dog if given the opportunity. She is good with out 9 and 5 year old and have never attacked anyone or even seemed like she was going to. She has 5 acres currently to explore and will not have this much land when we move, and we want to find her a good home where she will continue to have the life she has enjoyed so much.

Story
Remy is a beautiful young Great Pyrenees that was surrendered by his owners because of a family health crisis. Remy is up to date on all his shots, is neutered and even had the Gatropexy procedure due to his deep rib cage. This is a life saving procedure that protects large dogs from the risk of stomach torsion.Remy is a very sweet dog that is young and full of energy. He never had a chance to live fully his puppy years. His owners who got Remy from other folks found that he spent his puppyhood tied to a trailer. Remy is good with other female dogs and he adores children. Remy is doing ok on walks. He pulls some but self-corrects when pulled back. He will benefit from some leash training. Remy does well in his crate and has no accidents in the crate. When out of the crate he whines to let people know that he needs to go the bathroom. Remy loves to be outside and would love a home with a large fenced yard. Remy is a love bug and he even thinks hes a lap dog. Hes great in the car and likes to go for rides.Because he was starved at one time, he still guards his food and needs to be fed alone. He likes to be with female dogs, but has not been tolerant of other male dogs. We would prefer to place Remy in a family with children older than 10 to make sure they understand not to bother him when he is eating or chewing on his bones. Other than guarding his food, he has been great with kids. You can apply to meet this beautiful gentle giant at ricopetrecovery.org. Applications to foster Remy are also welcome . Adoption fee is $250.
