Both of her parents are full Great Pyrenees, so she’s the real deal — fluffy, sweet, and destined to grow into a loyal, loving companion. 🏡 About Winter: Winter is doing wonderfully in her foster home and is already showing how smart she is! She is learning to use puppy pads indoors and is doing great with them. At night, she keeps her pen clean for the most part, which is a huge win for a puppy her age 👏 🐶 Personality & Playtime: Winter loves to play with the other dogs and puppies in her foster home and really enjoys being part of the pack. She’s a happy, playful girl who also has a gentle, sweet side that will melt your heart. 🧸 Training & Learning: She loves toys and is very treat motivated, making training a fun and positive experience. This girl is eager to learn and will thrive with continued consistency and patience. 🚗🐕 Still Learning: Winter isn’t quite sure about car rides or the leash yet, but she’s a baby and we are already working on helping her feel more confident with both. With time and positive reinforcement, she’ll get there! 🌳 Home Requirements: • Fenced-in yard required. • Puppies will only go to homes that meet certain requirements. • You must have knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. 🐾🩵Meet Newton! Who has also gotten the nickname Fig! If you've ever dreamed of having a big, fluffy best friend who doubles as a professional snuggle buddy, Newton may be your perfect match! We believe this gentle giant is a Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees mix - meaning he comes fully equipped with a soft coat, soulful eyes and a whole lot of love to give. Newton can be a bit timid when meeting new people or when he's in an unfamiliar environment. It being best for him to have a home without children and a more quiet and consistent home environment. With a bit of time (and maybe a nice bonding walk), and you'll quickly see his loyal and affectionate side shine through. Once he feels comfortable, he's a total cuddle bug who enjoys being close to his people. During Newton's time in a foster home we learned he does not do well with cats, finding it would be best if Newton was in a cat free home. Newton also seemed to appear dog selective when his foster's had him on walks. If you have another dog at home, we require dog meet and greets at the shelter! Newton keeps his kennel impressively clean and hasn't had any accidents since arriving to the shelter - a great sign of good potty habits! The only "messy" habit to note is a little extra drool... but we like to call that just part of his charm! If you are looking for a big-hearted companion who will reward your patience with loyalty, affection and plenty of cozy moments, Newton is ready to steal your heart!
