Story
Lil' Sly is ready to steal your heart! This 8 month old Great Pyrenees mix is an all white bundle of sweetness with the softest soul. He's still very much a puppy, but already showing what an incredible companion he's going to be. Sly is wonderful with other dogs both big and small and truly enjoys having furry friends around. He's still a little unsure about new and unusual animals (a certain pot bellied pig has him very curious), but his reactions are more playful and inquisitive than anything. He hasn't lived with cats but may do well with cats that are accustomed to dogs and know how to assert their boundaries. Sly is crate trained and doing great with house training. He has those classic puppy bursts of energy, but they don't last long. He enjoys being outside and playing fetch! After a little playtime, Lil' Sly is happiest stretched out on the floor next to his people, chewing on a toy and soaking up the love. He's the kind of dog who just wants to be near you. Like many young pups, Sly can get excited and may jump up to say hello, so he'll need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into a well mannered gentleman. He hasn't lived with children but would likely do great with kids that know how to respect their dog friends. Given his breed mix, Sly will likely grow into a large dog, probably in the 80 to 100 pound range once fully grown. Hell be a big, fluffy, loyal companion with a heart just as big as his paws. He really is the sweetest baby boy and is going to make someone an incredibly devoted best friend. Apply to meet/adopt him here https://muttmisfits.org/contact/adoption-application/ He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Story
Meet Mitchell – the boy with a heart of gold, ears that live their own life, and a weirdness you can only fully appreciate when you meet him! Mitchell has been in his foster home since the day he was born. He has always been a little different, and a very vocal boy – like all shepherds strive to be. Mitchell is 3 years old and 70 lbs of mostly German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees. He loves other dogs and his personality has really taken off with strangers too. He has a couple of best friend foster siblings that he enjoys playing with. Mitchell is house and kennel trained. He will need a home with a routine and patience as he works on leash training and that can help him keep learning. Mitchell has a pretty standard shepherd personality. If you have experience with shepherds, you fully understand. He wants to be worried about the world, while also being a social butterfly – an interesting combination for sure! Mitchell does get nervous with new things, but as his confidence continues to grow, we know that nervousness will get less and less. He hasn't been around kids but with his easy going demeanor we don't think he would have any issues in a home with kids that know how to respect their dog friends. He was born with bad hips and had surgeries to get him all fixed up. He’s still trying to learn that his hips are fixed, so he walks a little odd, but that just goes with his personality! Mitchell is a large dog, so he will benefit from some joint supplements as he ages. He may never be a super high energy guy, but more of a couch potato, hang out with his humans kind of guy. Mitchell wants to be a house dog, a true family companion, and would do best in a lower-key home. Staying active throughout his life will help him, but he won’t ever be a marathoner! You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application! Mitchell is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.

Story
Maggie  “Guardian by nature, couch potato by choice”   Meet a loyal guardian with a heart of gold and a serious love for the cozy life!!! This sweet girl is everything people adore about a Great Pyrenees. Maggie came into the foster program as a stray with a litter of newborn puppies, and after raising her babies and seeing them off to their own homes, she is now ready to find a family of her very own.   Maggie is devoted to her family, naturally watchful, and always keeping an eye on what’s happening around her. She’ll alert to neighborhood activity without being excessive, but welcomes guests into the home with polite manners.   While she enjoys being outdoors, her favorite place is wherever her people are. Preferably inside, supervising from some place nice and cozy. She is a world-class loafer and proud of it, with a low to medium energy level that makes her an excellent companion for a home that appreciates a calmer pace.   She is patient and gentle with young children, travels well in the car, kennels quietly when needed (especially if a tasty snack is involved), and is highly food motivated. She respects baby gates, shows no interest in escaping or wandering, and is deeply devoted to her people.   Like many Great Pyrenees, she is an independent thinker with a stubborn streak, but that’s all part of her charm.   She would do best in a home as the only female dog, or with laid-back, passive dogs who respect her space. She should be fed separately from other dogs. At this time, her response to cats, livestock, and farm animals is unknown.   If you’re looking for a loyal companion, gentle guardian, and certified bed hog who will watch over both your home and your heart, this girl may be your family’s perfect match!! ##2703979##

Story
Meet Monty!   Monty is a chill, go-with-the-flow pup who’s equal parts play and snuggle. He loves romping with other dogs and can get rambunctious, but he’s just as happy sprawling on the tile to cool off or napping by the fan.   Monty’s Highlights: Dog friendly: Plays great with other pups and follows their lead Cat curious: Interested but gentle — not scary to kitties House trained: Doing really well on potty training, sleeps through the night Leash skills: Loves walks and doesn’t fight the leash. He chases his foster sibling, so he may need solo leash practice Cuddle style: Starts the night cuddled up, then moves to the cool floor when he gets toasty   Monty’s a laid-back guy looking for a family who’ll give him playtime, downtime, and a cool spot to snooze. If you want a buddy who’s ready for adventure, Monty’s your dude. ##2703969##
