Story
I am looking to rehome my 9-year-old dog to a patient, understanding, and loving home. She is a sweet, goofy, and affectionate couch potato who absolutely loves her people. She enjoys belly rubs, being close to her person, and thrives on affection and companionship. Once she bonds with someone, she is deeply loyal and very attached. She does best as the only dog and only animal in the home, ideally in a quieter environment with land where she can feel calm and settled. She becomes highly reactive and overwhelmed around other dogs, so she needs a home that can avoid those situations. She also has separation anxiety and can bark when left alone, so she would do best with someone who is patient, consistent, and either home often or willing to work gently with her over time. When she gets very excited—especially when someone comes home—she can become overstimulated and may have accidents, typically bowel movements, when she is overwhelmed. This is usually tied to excitement or anxiety

Story
Xander – The Gentle Soul 🖤 Xander’s story isn’t an easy one. Life hasn’t always been kind to him, and his past has left its mark. He carries a shy, cautious air, the kind that tells you he’s seen more than his fair share of hard days. But beneath that timid shell is a heart aching to trust, to love, and to finally belong. Xander isn’t the dog who will come crashing into your lap right away. He’s the one who will quietly watch, waiting to see if your kindness is real, if your patience is steady, and if your love is the kind that doesn’t give up. With time, gentle encouragement, and consistency, Xander begins to unfold—like a flower opening in the sun after a long storm. And when he does? You’ll see the makings of the most loyal sidekick you could ever ask for. The kind of friend who doesn’t just follow you—he chooses you, every single day. ✨ Shy but deeply sensitive. ✨ Needs a calm, steady home filled with patience. ✨ Blossoms under gentle guidance. ✨ Has the heart of a true sidekick once trust is built. Xander may not be everyone’s dog—but for the right person, he’ll be the dog. The one who teaches you the beauty of second chances, the power of patience, and the unshakable bond that comes when a wounded soul learns to trust again. 🐾

Iceman – 2 Month Old Great Pyrenees Mix Meet Iceman, an adorable 2 month old Great Pyrenees mix with the softest fluff and sweetest personality. His mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and based on dogs seen in the area, we believe dad may be a pure Great Pyrenees. While that is not guaranteed, we do expect Iceman to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Iceman will likely have these traits as he matures. Because of this, we are looking for a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about livestock guardian breeds and their unique needs. At this age, Iceman is a typical young puppy who enjoys being held, playing, and exploring his surroundings. As he grows, he will need structure, consistent training, and space appropriate for a large breed dog. Iceman is: Neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines and preventions Adoption Fee: $250 Local Adoption (in Texas) $550 Out of State Adoption (includes transport to your area) If you are prepared for a large, loyal companion and understand the needs of guardian breeds, Iceman could be a wonderful addition to your family.
