ISO: Loving Furever Home Must Haves:  BIG Dog Lovers (3 years and 75 lbs and fluffy)  hands that never stop petting me  working dog experience (as I’m a natural guardian dog)  Calm environment (fast paced kids make me timid)  lots of yard space to roam, play, and sun bathe  respect for slow introductions to new people (my foster mommy will teach you my ways)  Chill canines (I’m an easy going player) and dog savvy felines  lots of car rides If this sounds like your house, you just need to apply at  www.pack9rescue.org/applications  and put AURORA as your future dog! We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Story
Rocky is such a good boy, with plenty of love to give. He’s very handsome, playful, good with kids, and generally obedient for a 2 year old. The reason why we’re finding a new home for him is, my wife runs a business out of our home with people in and out all the time. Rocky cannot control his excitement, and tends to jump and ‘excited pee’ a little bit. Obviously this is not loved by everyone! We do wear ‘belly bands’ on him when we allow him roam the house with guests. Also, while we have a decent sized property, we don’t have a fenced in yard for him to run which is important for Great Pyrenees. We work a lot and are kids are getting grown. He needs more exercise and a better opportunity to love well and live his best life. While a fenced yard isn’t a requirement, it sure would help for him to be outside much more than he is. He’s truly a great dog, just not the right fit for our family.

Story
Hi my name is Daisy and I am a almost 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix. I love to go on walks and play with stuffed toys. I am crate trained and house broken. I enjoy the company of other dogs, but can also be the only child if my human will be with me most of the time. I have some anxiety and can be a bit talkative at times, but with the help of medication I've been doing better. I do great in a car and have the best manners while in public. I know all my basic commands! I prefer to sleep in bed with my person and love to give hugs. If you're looking for a talkative girl that wants to be by your side, then I'm your girl! If you'd like to adopt this pup please fill out our application at www.goofyfootrescue.org

Story
Please contact Vickie ( yardleydogs2@aol.com) for more information about this pet. This is Eugene, a mix of Great Pyrenees and American Bulldog who, at 5 years old, is a big boy of about 100 pounds.  A good fella, he can be a handful on a walk if you have little or no experience with a large dog who some is sometimes bent on doing what he wants to do.  My, he can be stubborn!  Whether very young or older, kids will find Eugene a challenge due to the combination of that stubborn streak and his size, so we feel he wouldn’t do well in a home with any children.  For much the same reasons, he should be the only dog in the family.  Eugene is a great dog who, with an experienced owner, will come into his own as the best of dogs. (posted 1/22/22)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our wonderful dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our many years in rescue.** Adoption and transport:  $225   June 4, 2023, 5:41 pm

Story
Alpine and Aspen are a very bonded brother/sister pair of lovable gentle giants! They were purchased from a breeder but released to us when they realized they worked too much for two large puppies. They are spay/neutered, UTD on core vaccines and are HW negative as well as microchipped. They do love to be outside, but they also love to be inside with their humans and they LOVE affection. Alpine is a total love bug and the two of them love to play and rough house. Aspen is a bit more stubborn which is a great pyr trait but she is a very good girl. They are both crate trained and appear close to housetrained but we do let them out often. Aspen seems to love her men and Alpine is a definite ladies' man so they would be a great addition to any couple's life. They seem to love everyone and everything. These are really great pups! If you would like make these sweet babies your new forever family members, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our info and app.

Story
Juneau is a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees mix (bday 9/02/20) weighing around 65 pounds. He is a very snuggly boy who will sit on the couch with you to watch TV or take a nap. He currently has two cat siblings who aren't huge fans of him, but he would love to play with them if they would. He's very mild mannered, however he does get into garbage if it is not in a can with a lid on it, and isn't the best leash walker. Juneau is a very social dog who loves people and animals, but has a ferocious bark when he sees someone new (once you let him smell the person, though, he's their new best friend). He is a great family dog and loves having friends to play with. Lots of shedding comes with him, but his snuggles and sweet little ways he shows affection are absolutely worth it. If you are interested in adopting him, please submit at application at www.goofyfootrescue.org
