Story
Oh My Gosh!! Look at this precious Pyrenees mix pup! Lizzie is 3 months old and a beautiful golden/beige color. She seems to be fine with other dogs and cats, but is definitely a puppy! This breed is very protective and become great and loyal companions for you and your family. It would be heaven for Lizzie to grow up beside your kiddos. She will most likely be on the larger size (she is part Pyrenees, ya know)! Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, and starting heartworm prevention and flea/tick control.

Story
Banshee is a sweet, ultra cuddle loving boy who thinks he’s tiny and loves to climb all over your lap! We call him little B, although he’s not small anymore. Banshee is house trained, crate trained and has been through basic obedience training. He’s neutered and up to date on shots as well as microchipped. I would recommend an experienced owner since he has stubborn streak. I also believe he would do best in a single dog home. He deals with some resource guarding issues when it comes to our other dogs who are older and unfortunately we as a family think he would do better with owners who are more active, don’t have dogs and are experienced owners. B isn’t aggressive towards people or other animals when meeting on walks, his issue only comes when he feels another dog is trying to take something he wants. He’s the sweetest boy who just wants to be cuddled 24/7 and we are committed to finding him that perfect home!

Story
Almost Home believes that every animal deserves a loving home regardless of appearance, age, or physical limitation.  We have come together to give animals in need the safe and happy life they all deserve.  Almost Home Animal Rescue believes that no animal is expendable.  Adopting a friend:The animals, lucky enough to find refuge with Almost Home, are all in loving foster homes. If you are interested in the possibility of giving one of the animals a new lease on life, please contact us. The contact information is listed at the end of each biography.  What you need to do to adopt:If you would like to adopt a pet in need from Almost Home, basically, an application must be filled out. We will check two personal references and a vet reference. If you are approved for adoption, there is a trial period of about one week to make sure this is the animal for you and you are the person for the animal. Along with the trial period, a contract must be signed that basically states that if ever you cannot keep the animal that you must return the animal to Almost Home. Last but not least, a home check will be done. Meet & Greets:An approved application is required. This does not mean that you have to adopt but that you are approved to do so if everything works out. Since we are foster based, this limits the amount of people coming to our homes.  *Due to rescuer being very ill, all her dogs are in desperate need!!! Greetings! I'm Fluffy! My best friend, Poe, and I were allowed to wander the streets. Our owner just didn't care. I was pregnant at the time. Our rescuer begged for me to be able to come into rescue. So, our owner dumped me and unexpectedly and luckily dumped Poe too! I am a very pretty girl that is about three to four years old. I am mostly fluff and I weigh around eighty pounds. We are the friendliest duo and are exceptionally loving! We adore people and other doggies. We do love children but I can get excitable, so small children may get overwhelmed. We are true buddies. You will always find us hanging out together. We enjoy adventures and would follow you to the ends of the earth. All you have to do is make us yours! Love,Fluffy & Poe *Guest Posting**Discount for two!***Adoption Fee $275 for both If you would like to meet your new best friend, contact the Adoption Coordinator at info@almosthometn.org or 865-236-0830. To fill out an application, go to www.almosthometn.org. If you can't get it to work, tell us and we will email it to you.ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee for a cat is $85. The adoption fee for a kitten is $100. The adoption fee does include the kittens being fixed and their rabies shot when they are old enough through one of our local vets. The adoption fee for a dog is $200. The adoption fee for a puppy is $250. The adoption fee does include the puppies being fixed and their rabies shot when they are old enough through one of our local vets. Mature pet adoption fees are sometimes reduced. The adoption fee for pure bred dogs and cats will vary due to health and age of pet. This helps support our ill animals and our mutts that get left in the system longer. We do reserve the right to change the fees higher or lower due to the circumstance of the animal but what was stated above are the usual adoption fees.  Microchipped pets will have a higher adoption fee.  Our adoption fees do not cover the cost of the vetting and care the animal has received with us and if it ever does, the money just goes back it to helping other animals in need. May 10, 2024, 9:45 pm

Story
This incredibly handsome boy is Glacier. He is a 2 year old Pyrenees / Aussie mix. Apparently he doesn't like other dogs or cats though. And, in accordance to his breed description, he likes to break out and roam free. So, he really needs a home with someone who knows his breed(s) and can work with him. Even with all his "quirks", he is an exceptionally beautiful and a happy boy.Intake 4/10/24Available nowID 25014 Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Blue Merle Weight: 55 Age: 2yrs 5mths 1wks
