And honestly, the guardian dog vibe is strong with this one, low energy, level-headed, and impressively unfazed. Alfie is so fortunate and is fostered in a loving home while he waits for his adoption day and let me tell you- he is definitely foster approved! He is both house and crate trained! And despite his size he doesn’t mind the crate at all. Serious heart-eyes bonus- Alfie is snuggly and cuddly and his foster just adores it! Though we cannot say he is truly a pyrenees, the breed is typically not the most physically affectionate so the rare ones that are become deeply cherished, On leash, Alfie walks with ease and is very responsive to gentle corrections. The best part is his pace, he keeps it to a cruising speed which genuinely only adds to the sense of peace he brings to life- think, slow-down-and-enjoy-this. He also is great in the car and can even load up all on his own. What an impressive boy! Alfie lives with 4 other dogs in his foster home and his foster describes him as playful but definitely more “friendly and social” than “party-starter.” When he meets new dogs, he is inviting, confident and calm. Such a well-mannered boy! And when it comes to the wild and crazy chaos loving dogs, Alfie is unbothered. We have watched him politely meet a wild one then gently walk away and sniff. His warm welcome and unbothered nature was seen just the same when he met a little dog and our house cat. Our house cat came in with big confident energy, approached quickly, and Alfie stayed respectful, aware of his own size, and let the cat roam around unbothered. Truly gold-star manners. Holy heck, this dog is about as angelic as any one dog can get! Let me introduce you to Aspen, he is a young, mellow soul with built in “gentle-giant” energy. I would be hard pressed to find something negative to say about him. Aspen has been so fortunate and is living in a loving foster home while he waits for his adoption day. His foster home includes young children, a wide variety of dogs, cats, and even a chinchilla- all of which he gets along with gently and perfectly. He is just a gentle boy- equal parts playful and peaceful. easygoing, and good-natured. One of the cutest things he does is how he politely will ask for affection by placing his head in your lap and hitting you with those warm brown eyes like it’s the most natural thing in the world. He is fostered in a loving home with kids, cats, other dogs, and even a chinchilla, and the consensus is simple- he is actually perfect! Aspen is a recent tripod but he truly doesn’t treat it like a big deal. He’s still healing (you’ll see that in his video), but he’s already running, playing, and bouncing back with that sweet puppy resilience. His amputation was necessary but he’s handling it all with a steady, sunny spirit. With dogs, he is a great companion and fun playmate. He meets new dogs calmly and it isnt long before he is inviting them to play and run with him. He would love a home with a playful but lower energy dog friend who would like to play but isn’t going for non-stop, marathon play sessions. Cats? Aspen is feline-friendly! We call his approach- respectfully cautious. When he met our house cat, he walked up to him calmly, did a quick smell & check in, then walked away, and when encouraged to get closer, he chose to go lay down. In other words he was saying“I’m just here to be peaceful- no rush.” Aspen could be a great fit in lots of homes, including a family home, and he seems like the kind of pup who’d be happy tagging along for outings and adventures as he continues building strength and confidence. For apartments, it may simply depend on the setup since he’s a tripod and still healing, but temperament-wise he’s the kind of dog that will make anywhere he is better and a whole love sweeter. He’s a good boy. Definitely needs room to run and explore. He’s 9 months about. He’s still a puppy still maturing is neutered. Can be a little aggressive at feeding. I have a travel job and knew that upon adopting him. But unfortunately I lost my pet sitter. Just looking to see what options are for him I definitely want to keep him I just feel bad he needs help when I’m outta town. I kenneled him and the cost just wasn’t feasible to make sure he’s well taken care of when I’m gone. He loves it outside. Would prefer to even sleep outside if he could. 😭😭

Ollie is a sweet and smart boy, very beloved part of our family. I went through separation from my husband over a year ago. We've been trying to make our situation work without rehoming him. We have to move to somewhere much cheaper and smaller, not ideal for Ollie. I work a lot and dont have a lot of time for him. Hes about 6 years old, no health problems.

We are a group of happy, playful puppies full of curiosity and joy! Our days are spent pouncing, wrestling, playing tug-of-war, and exploring every nook and corner of the house. Adventure is our favorite job, and we take it very seriously. Food is another one of our great loves! Our mama is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, and our dad is a Catahoula Leopard Dog, which means we’re expected to grow into large, strong, and loyal companions. Has anyone seen a white bumble bee??? Us either!! Yet, here we are..... We are quite the pair, cute and big and lumbering around the rescue ;) We r not a bonded pair, but you could get quite alot of fun and hair with two of us... well even if you only adopt one of us.
