Story
Meet Manchas. This sweet boy had his world turned upside down when his human family was suddenly deported. Manchas, his mom, and his brother were left behind in the home with no plan for their care and no thought for their welfare. Thankfully, extended family stepped in to help temporarily, but they don’t have the time or resources to manage three dogs and are moving out of town. A local animal advocate learned of their situation and reached out to Worthy Dog for help. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and we want to find Manchas the loving home he deserves, while giving his displaced family some peace of mind knowing he’s safe and secure. Manchas appears to be a beagle mix and has a sweet, social, and affectionate personality. He came from a loving home and has lived with young kids and other dogs. He is crate trained, and we believe he has decent leash skills. We are still looking for a foster home for Manchas. He's getting neutered this week. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and we want to support Celeste and her pups and give their displaced family some peace of mind knowing their dogs are safe. Celeste appears to be a beagle mix and has a sweet, social, and affectionate personality. She was clearly loved as a family dog and has lived with young kids and other dogs. She is crate trained, and we believe she has decent leash skills. Celeste will transfer to her foster home next week after being spayed, and we’ll share more updates as we get to know her.
