Most likely beagle! She is a sweet girl who came to us from a local shelter. She is good with other dogs, not cat tested, and housebroken! She is not a fan of the crate but will go in when needed. She has not been crated at her foster home and does fine. She will need a home with a fenced in yard and her adoption fee is $300. She is currently in the Dayton area. Please apply at ohiobassetrescue.com    Adoption Process: To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address. Patches would like you to patch his life back together with your love! This sweet boy is a 2 Year old beagle Basset hound mix who came to us from a hoarding situation in St. Louis Missouri. He is good with other dogs and lived in a foster home in Missouri for a few weeks with cats so no issues there as well!   This sweet boy does not understand the term personal space! He wants to be in your lap and be loved! He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly! Another four-legged friend would help show him the ropes! Patches is completely up-to-date, neutered, and ready to go! When he was first picked up with the other dogs they did have a bit of a flea infestation that has Long since been cleared up but he still has some patchy skin as a result and it is starting to come back in nicely! Patches’ adoption fee is $300 and he will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard. He is currently located in Columbus Ohio. He is a 4yo beagle basset mix. Ham needs the most special forever home because he needs somebody who is willing to adopt or foster him and help him through heartworm treatment, at OBHR‘s cost!   Ham came to OBHR with two other dogs from a hoarding situation in St. Louis Missouri. He is good with other dogs and lived in a foster home in St. Louis for a few weeks with cats with no issues also. He is a shy guy who would do best with another dog to keep him company. He is up-to-date on his shots, However he is not able to be neutered until after his heartworm treatment is complete as we cannot subject him to anesthesia until his heart is healthy. All of this will be done at our cost as long as you can bring him back to our Vet in the Columbus area for treatment. Ham will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard and he is currently located in the Columbus area. If you are willing to open your heart and home to this special boy, please fill out the online application on our website and once Approved shoot us an email. We are looking for either a Foster, Foster to adopt or adaptive home for him!
