Story
Meet Emma & Murphy — A Love Story with Very Short Legs Some things are simply better together. Peanut butter and jelly. Movies and popcorn. And Emma and Murphy. ❤️ These two bonded Basset Hounds, estimated to be 3–5 years old, have already been through a heartbreaking change together. They once shared a home with their people and three other dog siblings, but when their owners passed away unexpectedly, their whole world changed. Through it all, Emma and Murphy have had one constant: each other. Now they’re looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side. And personality-wise? These two could not be more perfectly mismatched. Emma is the boss. She’s sassy, confident, and quite certain that whatever is happening, she should probably be in charge of it. Emma doesn’t believe in strangers—only friends she hasn’t met yet. She’s happy to collect attention, pets, and admirers wherever she goes. Murphy is her lovable, dopey sidekick. He’s playful, goofy, and ridiculously endearing. He can be a little nervous when meeting someone new, but give him a little time and reassurance and that timid boy quickly turns into a sweet, affectionate snuggle bug. Together, they’re a wonderful pair. Both love affection, snuggles, and pets, and they’ve already proven they know how to live in a home. One particularly great perk: they can be trusted loose in the house and left home alone for extended periods. They’ve already lost their home and their people. What they haven’t lost is each other. Emma and Murphy aren’t asking for much: a comfy place to land, plenty of hands for petting, and a family willing to make room for two long bodies, four floppy ears, eight short legs, and a whole lot of love. They came into foster care together. Now we’re determined to see them leave together. ❤️ Apply to adopt Emma & Murphy and give these two best friends the happy ending they deserve. Story
Bangles is a beautiful Lemon Beagle. He is very good with new people and does well with other dogs. He enjoys a good trot around the yard but at approx 6 years old and 31 pounds, he also enjoys lounging in the sun. Bangles has been introduced to cats and while he has shown interest, he has not shown any aggression. Bangles will actually go in his open crate for a snooze durning the day, especially if there is a cozy blanket tucked inside, and although he does not really play with toys, he enjoys having one in his crate with him; which is super sweet.  Bangles is a perfect companion dog, as he will stay close by you, not demanding, nor vocal, but a true buddy.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Harper Daisy and her magnificent ears are ready to meet you! At about 7 years young, this beautiful middle aged woman is the perfect balance of playful and couch potato. She's happy to go for a walk or wander about the yard for a few. But then just as happy to follow you right back inside and snuggle into her spot on the couch. Movie marathons, book clubs, you name it and she's happy to hang.  Did someone say snacks?! Harper is ALL about food. She loves to eat and will take any opportunity given (or not) for a treat. No need to keep the time while she's around, she's happy to let you know when it's breakfast and dinner time Potty trained, crate trained, and sits for meals...this girl has it all going on. She lives peacefully with kids, cats, and other dogs. Harper would be totally fine with or without animal friends...so long as she has your love and attention. Kids....oh she loves to cuddle with kiddos, but only those who are respectful and know not to climb on her.  Could this absolute gem of a lady be what's missing in your life? Apply to make her a part of your family today ❤️ All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
