Spot is a 2 and a half year old beagle basset mix hoping Santa brings him a new home for the holidays! He is about 26 pounds and up to date on shots and neutered. Spot is your typical beagle basset who is high energy and has a tendency to grab his own treats off the counters! He is house trained and crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He was relinquished to OBHR because he was one of 4 high energy dogs in the house and it was too much to handle. Basically because he is a hound dog! So if you are familiar with hounds he will fit right into your family! He will need a home with a fenced in yard and someone who can keep him active and exercised! He loves to play with his toys and snuggle, go for hikes and loves ice cubes and baby carrots! Chance is a 2 and a half year old beagle basset mix looking for a new home for 2026! He is about 26 pounds and up to date on shots and neutered. Chance is a great pup that loves to snuggle, he has transitioned very well, he still loves to sleep, eat and poop with case of zoomies every once in awhile. At bed time he crawls under the covers and that is where he sleeps all night. Doing great with leash training the only time he really pulls on the leash is when he’s been home all day by himself and he has to potty really bad but other than that he’s doing great. Gets a long with cats, other dogs of all sizes. Loves his human interaction more. Loves treats and occasionally the spare French fry. Does not really bark but does whine a little when you first get home, but that is it. Does great with new people and new dog/cat introductions. Will need nausea meds for car rides but I’m sure once he gets used to car rides he will love them. Will make someone a phenomenal companion. He will need a home with a fenced in yard and someone who can keep him active and exercised! He loves to play with his toys and snuggle, go for hikes and loves ice cubes and baby carrots! Rosco is a happy and energetic boy who will need an active family who will help keep him exercised and active. He will need a home with a fenced in backyard. Rosco would do best in a home with older kids, 10 end up, as his energy level is high and he tends to knock over small children and small dogs. Poor little guy just needs to learn some manners and have somebody active to spend time with him! He is house trained and crate trained. He is being fostered south of Dayton and his adoption fee is $300. We only adopt to Ohio and states that immediately border it. She is a 4.5 year old basset looking for a new home! She is up to date, spayed and chipped and will need a home with a fenced in yard! We adopted to Ohio and states that immediately border. Our girl Daisy is a lover of all things fun! She is enjoying not having to raise her pups anymore and getting to be a puppy herself again She can never have too many toys to chose from, she will play with them all. If it's time to go outside, Daisy will make sure that everyone has fun. She can't always hear you talking to her when her sniffer has found a good smell outside but you can't take it personally because once she realizes that you are talking to her, Daisy will come over to you with great enthusiasm to hear what you have to say! Daisy does have whip worms and is on meds and is scheduled to go to a foster home Monday after the meds have cleared. (Jan 19th). She can be adopted prior only if it is to a home with no other dogs due to her worms. She is and will be located in Columbus. Per her former owner she is house trained and good with kids, dogs and cats. She is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, and micro chipped and will require a home with a fenced in yard. We adopt to Ohio and states that immediately border. She is located in Columbus. Goldie came to us from a family who found her as a stray and was unable to keep her, so we do not know how she is around cats, but we do know she is OK with other dogs and kids. Goldie is an absolute love She is a lady and behaves as a lady should. Goldie enjoys her strolls around the yard and does not always realize that her nose is leading places that she doesn't need to be, lol! She will follow any scent that intrigues her! This sweet girl knows how to get comfortable in her bed and enjoys collecting her toys together and bringing them with her to nap time The only thing to beware of with Goldie is her puppy dog eyes, she knows how to use them to get exactly what she wants This girl is definitely worth her weight in gold!
