Meet Emily! 🐾 Emily may have only arrived on Friday, but this smart girl is already learning so much! Her long legs give her a little extra reach, which makes counter and table surfing very tempting. We’re working on teaching her that those are not acceptable ways to score a snack—and she’s catching on! Emily is also learning the joys of being a dog. Our resident pup is showing her what toys are and, more importantly, how much fun it is to play fetch!  She is a quick learner and seems eager to figure things out. She does great in her crate overnight and while we’re away at work. She also understands that potty time happens outside, which is a great start! And food? Emily is definitely a chow hound! 😂 Her love of yummy treats should make training a whole lot easier. With some patience, consistency, and tasty rewards, this girl has so much potential. Emily is off to a fantastic start in her foster home, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom! ❤️🐶

Hi I’m Goldie! Though I don’t know my name so feel free to name me whatever you want. I’m around 3 years old and I’m a super sweet girl who thrives on human attention. I was found as a stray so not much is known about my history. But I am good with other dogs and cats. I absolutely adore my foster families kids (6 and 2). I’m fine with going in my crate though I may complain for a few minutes. I’m not completely house trained but I’ve been working really hard at it and I am pee pad trained and use them consistently. I walk well on the leash. Can my forever home be with you?

Current Location: Mechanicsville, VA Hi, I’m Zinnia! I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a wonderful balance of playful energy and cuddle-up-and-relax vibes. I’m happiest when I get a chance to stretch my legs, run around the yard, and chase a ball, but once I’ve gotten my energy out, I’m more than happy to settle in and enjoy some downtime with my people. I’m a medium-energy girl who would love a home where I can safely run off leash in a fenced area each day. I also walk nicely on a leash and really enjoy getting outside to explore, so I’d be happy to join you for walks and adventures too! I’m very affectionate and love being close to my people. Pets and attention are always welcome! I’m good with cats, and I’d likely enjoy having another doggy friend to hang out and play with as well. I’m doing well with my house training and know that potty time happens outside, although I still have an occasional accident while I’m getting the hang of everything. I’m also a great eater and definitely not picky about my meals. Need a road trip buddy? I travel well in the car and am happy to come along for the ride. At the end of the day, I settle down nicely and sleep quietly through the night. If you’re looking for a loving girl who can play hard, explore with you, and then happily relax by your side, I might be just the flower you’ve been waiting for!
