Hi! My name is Georgia. I'm very pretty and very friendly, but I've got a bad food allergy that causes me to be itchy and groom myself too much. The shelter is helping me figure out what I can eat, but it seems like I'll need to be on a very specific diet (possibly forever). 🐾 Meet Thames Color: Black & white tuxedo Personality: Thoughtful, cautious, quietly observant Thames is a handsome tuxedo boy who has come a long way alongside his brother, Zambezi (“Zammy”). Once very feral, both boys are slowly learning to trust humans through patience, routine, and gentle care. Thames is the more reserved of the two and prefers to observe first before deciding that a situation—or a person—is safe. Thames is a great roommate—not destructive (aside from a fondness for paper), respectful of his space, and surprisingly vocal when food or treats are nearby. He continues to make steady progress and will benefit from a calm, predictable environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. Thames shares a strong brotherly bond with Zammy and often looks to him for reassurance. Although they are not being adopted as a bonded pair, Thames would truly thrive if he were able to remain in the same home as his brother, as their dynamic provides him added comfort and confidence. 🐾 Meet Izzy — A Playful Tabby with Spark and Style Izzy is a gorgeous female tabby with a rich brown-charcoal coat and stunning green eyes that stop people in their tracks. She’s a young adult with energy to spare and a personality that keeps life interesting. Izzy is excellent with the litter box and an absolute playtime enthusiast. Strings, balls, feathers—if it’s a toy, Izzy is into it. She loves chasing, batting, and entertaining herself, and her zoomies are truly something to behold (very dog-like and very entertaining!). Play is her happy place, and she thrives when she has outlets to burn off her energy. While Izzy can be very sweet and affectionate, she’s still learning how to navigate human touch. She may enjoy petting one moment and then become overstimulated, responding with a quick nip or swat. Because of this, Izzy needs a patient, cat-savvy home that understands feline boundaries and will let her set the pace for affection. Izzy would likely do best as the only cat in the household, where she can have space, attention, and routine without competition. Her history with dogs and young children is unknown, but she may do well with older children who can respect her signals and give her space when needed. With time, consistency, and understanding, Izzy has the potential to continue growing into a confident, loving companion.
