🐾 Meet Mirabel — The Independent Redhead Queen 🧡🤍 Mirabel is a stunning orange-and-white beauty with a bold personality and plenty of charm. True to her fiery redhead look, she’s confident, expressive, and knows exactly what she likes — and what she doesn’t. Mirabel is the kind of cat who likes to come and go on her own terms. She enjoys being near her person and will happily curl up beside you at night or keep you company while you relax, but she’s also very clear about her boundaries. Think of her as a companion who prefers quality time over constant hands-on affection. ✨ Her Personality Mirabel is affectionate in her own way. She often chooses to sleep next to her person and enjoys being close, but she’s not a cat who wants lots of full-body petting. Chin scratches are her favorite, and she’ll happily accept attention — until she’s had enough. When she gets overstimulated, she’ll let you know it’s time to give her a little space. She also has a playful side and enjoys batting around toys or exploring the house. And like many orange cats, she’s fascinated by running water and loves sipping from the sink faucet. 🎀 Independent & Full of Sass Mirabel has a fun, sassy personality that makes her entertaining to live with. She likes to explore the house, check in on what you’re doing, and then settle in nearby when she’s ready to relax. 🐈 Her Social Preferences Mirabel previously lived as an only pet, but in foster care she has shown that she can coexist with other cats when introductions are done slowly. She tends to keep her distance and prefers not to interact much with them, so she would do best either: • As the only cat, or • In a home with another calm, respectful cat and a patient introduction process 🐶 Dogs are still a no for Mirabel — she’s made that very clear. 👨‍👩‍👧 Kids & Home Environment Mirabel would likely do best in a home with older children or adults who understand feline boundaries. 🐈‍⬛ Meet Chloe Chloe is an 8-year-old black beauty who has perfected the art of being a companion: find a comfortable lap, settle in, and make sure her person knows they're loved. This incredibly sweet girl is a huge cuddler who adores pets and attention. In her foster home, Chloe is perfectly content to curl up in her foster mom's lap while she works, and she's happy to accept affection from just about anyone willing to provide it. She's generally quiet and easygoing, making her an especially lovely companion for someone who appreciates having a cat nearby without constant commotion. Chloe also has one very important hobby: eating. This girl LOVES her food! Despite having only two teeth, she happily eats both wet and dry food and has enthusiastically approved every treat she's been offered. Chloe does have some allergies that mean she'll need specific food and flea prevention products, but her needs are very manageable. It's simply a matter of knowing what works for her and incorporating those products into her normal routine and veterinary care. When she's not cuddling or contemplating her next snack, Chloe knows how to entertain herself. She's good about using a scratching post (although she may occasionally need a reminder that the couch is not an equally acceptable option!) and has been known to chase a toy when the mood strikes. Chloe can also coexist with other cats and dogs. She doesn't particularly want to become best friends with them and will let them know when she needs some space, but once her boundaries are established, she's generally content to do her own thing. She has also done well with a 9-year-old child and, unsurprisingly, was quite happy to have another person available for pets and attention. And her household manners? Excellent. Chloe is fully litter box trained and hasn't had a single accident in her foster home. After spending six years with her previous owner, Chloe came to us when her person could no longer continue caring for her. Now she's looking for someone who sees exactly how much this sweet senior still has to offer. Meet Jake 🖤🤍 | Energetic, People-Loving Playmate Jake is a black-and-white bundle of energy who lives life to the fullest — play hard, explore everything, then crash into a well-earned nap. If you’re looking for a fun, engaging companion who will keep you entertained, Jake is your guy. This outgoing boy is obsessed with people and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. He greets new faces with confidence and is always ready to make a new friend. He’s also a big fan of other cats and would enjoy having a feline buddy to wrestle, chase, and play with (with proper introductions and the right match). Jake uses scratching posts like a pro and channels his energy into toys instead of furniture—a win for everyone. Jake has experienced some urine spraying behaviors, which we believe are related to anxiety and environmental stress. He's recently started anti-anxiety medication, and we're already seeing improvement. His future family should be prepared to continue working with their veterinarian as he settles into his new home, but we're very optimistic that with consistency, routine, and a lower-stress environment, he'll continue making great progress.
