🐾 Meet Zambezi (“Zammy”) Color: All black Personality: Vocal, curious, quietly confident Zambezi—affectionately known as Zammy—is an all-black beauty who has made remarkable progress. Once very feral, Zammy and his brother Thames have slowly learned that people can be trusted, thanks to patience, routine, and gentle care. Of the two brothers, Zammy is the more confident and social one and often leads by example. Zammy is very vocal, especially when meals are being prepared or treats are nearby—he’s not shy about making his presence known. He’s also a wonderful housemate: respectful of his surroundings, not destructive (with the notable exception of paper), and content to coexist peacefully while continuing to build confidence. Zammy shares a close bond with his brother, Thames. While they are not required to be adopted together, Zammy does very well with him, and the two would truly thrive if they were able to stay in the same home. This sweet girl is about 1 year old and has the most easygoing, gentle personality. Her former foster family describes her as chill, affectionate, and incredibly loving. She’s great with new people, settles in quickly, and enjoys calm companionship. Once very feral, both boys are slowly learning to trust humans through patience, routine, and gentle care. Thames is the more reserved of the two and prefers to observe first before deciding that a situation—or a person—is safe. Thames is a great roommate—not destructive (aside from a fondness for paper), respectful of his space, and surprisingly vocal when food or treats are nearby. He continues to make steady progress and will benefit from a calm, predictable environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. Thames shares a strong brotherly bond with Zammy and often looks to him for reassurance. Although they are not being adopted as a bonded pair, Thames would truly thrive if he were able to remain in the same home as his brother, as their dynamic provides him added comfort and confidence. Hi! Im Lula! After spending a little time living outside Ive decided that the indoor VIP life is for me! I wasnt totally sure how I felt about people at first but with time and patience Im learning to trust and be more comfortable. I would do best in a home with adults or older children who have the patience to work with me and build my confidence so that I can enjoy my life to the furthest.
