LOVES TO CUDDLE, PLAY, AND ENTERTAIN  DOB 5/18/22 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out! You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again. PERFECT BALANCE OF PLAYFUL AND SNUGGLY  DOB 11/2/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Ollie, an affectionate, cuddly, and playful dilute red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who likes frolicking with my toys almost as much as snuggling with Foster Meowmy. I play a pretty mean game of soccer with my jingle-bell balls, and I adore swatting at the feathered wand toy when Foster Meowmy waves it over my head. I was in pretty bad shape when the Good Samaritan who rescued me introduced me to Foster Meowmy. I had a bloody, third-degree burn on my tail, not to mention that I was filthy dirty and infested with fleas. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy is a real pro, so when she got home, she patiently cleaned me up and then took me to her vet to get my tail examined. The vet did try to save my tail, but ultimately it had to be amputated at the burn site. So now I have the adorable stubby tail of an American Bobtail cat – although it’s NOT hereditary. After all I’d been through during my hardscrabble life as a stray, I was understandably a little shy when I first arrived at the safe haven of my foster home. However, with Foster Meowmy’s gentle touch and soft voice, it didn’t take me long to learn that I could trust her – as well as the friendly resident kitties, I might add. HEART-SHAPED BLACK NOSE-TIP  DOB 4/25/23 I am Minnie Moo, a sweet and squeaky black-and-white cow cat with a heart-shaped black nose and the clearest, most wondrous green eyes you will ever see -- condensed into a “minnie” lovable package. I may be a bit shy at first, but once I trust you, I crave gentle affection and close companionship and moo-ve right into your heart. With a moo here and a meow there, I have a way of squeaking joy to ordinary moments. When not chatting with you, I luxuriate in all the pets you can give me and plop down to soak up the attention. Petting me is therapeutic – I can help you unwind and relax after a long day, all while happily purring. Despite my absolute love for humans, you would never know I had my heart broken and abandoned by them. For nearly a year, an apartment maintenance manager fed and looked after me outside an apartment unit. It turns out that I had once belonged to a family who lived there, who cared enough about me at one point to have me spayed and microchipped. Unfortunately, they left me to fend for myself and fight off unwanted attention from other animals -- both cats and dogs alike. I waited there, day in and day out, hoping they would return to bring me back indoors, where I once felt safe and loved. Thankfully, HOPE volunteers stepped in and rescued me. I found a loving adopter and thought my happily-ever-after had arrived. Sadly, life presented my adopter with difficult challenges, and they made the heartbreaking decision to return me. None of this has been because of anything I did. I have simply been caught in circumstances beyond my control. Because of my past experiences outdoors, I can be a bit cautious around other animals. But when it comes to people, my affection is infinite. My heart is still full of hope, and I know the third time will be the charm. TICKED TABBY COAT MIMICS EXOTIC AFRICAN WILDCAT  DOB 3/15/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Jules, a sweet, gentle, and playful Abyssinian mix fella whose unique “ticked” tabby coat mimics the exotic appearance of an African Wildcat. When I was about six weeks old, a Good Samaritan found me hiding in the engine of a car with no momma or siblings in sight. Since Foster Meowmy had taken another rescued kitten off this Samaritan’s hands about a year ago, she turned again to Meowmy for help in finding a great family to adopt me. Thank heavens Meowmy agreed to bring me to the safe haven of her home. When I first arrived, I was understandably a little overwhelmed to go from cowering in a car engine to being in a foster home that was bustling with the activity of kids, foster kittens, as well as resident dogs and cats.
