Story
Meet Eunice! This gorgeous lady was found on the streets but she was not made for street life! She came to us with extensive dental disease, pyometra (a deadly uterine infection), and horrible skin from fleas. Thankfully with a bit of medical care, she is feeling much better! This princess loves the royal treatment - soft beds, lots of pets, plenty of food and a nice, quiet spot to take a nap! Eunice is extremely friendly and oh boy, is she a talker! She loves to tell you all about her day and will gladly have a conversation with anyone who wants to chat! She also loves pets, wand toys, and snacks! Eunice is not a huge fan of dogs so she is looking for a home without them. She seems to be fine with cats with proper intros. She loves being the center of attention but is happy to just snuggle and binge! Eunice had a full dental in April 2023 with several extractions but can easily eat dry kibble (which she seems to prefer). Wanna meet her? Email info@joyrides.org Age:10-12 yrs Weight: 10 lbs Dogs? Eunice would prefer a dog-free home Cats? probably ok w/ proper intros Litterbox trained? yes Eunice is being fostered in Houston, TX and is available for adoption out of state. Transport can be arranged.

Story
Stella taught herself to play fetch and will come running at the sound of her name. She's a chatty girl and, while she's not a fan of being picked up, she loves cuddles. She's a champion biscuit maker and will make biscuits on or right next to you just before she positions herself herself well amongst you for bedtime snuggles. For extra cuteness, she just might nurse on a blanket if it has a tufted texture. Stella is an adventurous, confident kitty whose energy doesn't wane easily. Playing fetch is her favorite use of energy and keep you entertained by chasing her tail into dizziness. Come visit and/or view Stella in Houston: * Petsmart every Saturday & Sunday 11:30-4pm at 2920 S. Shepherd Dr. * Email my Rescue here to schedule a meet & greet.

Story
If you would like more information about Loki or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to eabehring@gmail.com or contact this number, 256-348-7807 Hi there! I’m dapper Loki. I am neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and was given a clean bill of health from a highly rated vet (one my foster parents use for their own cats). I was born last spring in a backyard, fed sometimes by nice humans, and eventually brought home by my foster family last summer because I was just so cute! I’m curious and sweet and love Churus (the magical treats you squeeze out)! I make an adorable chirping sound (e.g., mep-mep, but also sometimes vrrr and orrrorrow) when I want to play or am looking out the window! I like all kinds of toys, but especially the ones with the wands. I LOVE water, but probably not to swim in (we don’t think!) My foster parents’ adult cat taught me and my siblings how to get water from the bathtub! I really like drinking straight from it, because it’s nice and fresh. I do still drink from a bowl, but there seems to be nothing like it! Refreshing! If I’m nice and relaxed, like if I’m in my little bed but not snoozing, I may even enjoy a belly rub (purrs). I get distracted if my siblings/foster siblings come over for attention, though, so make it a quick one. So I mentioned I was dapper! I’m dark gray all over, except for two little white patches on my toes. My fur is very soft and shiny, and my little nose is a dark gray. In the sunlight, you may be able to very faintly see I have a hidden pattern in my coat! This makes sense, because my littermates (and fellow fosters) are an orange tabby girl and a calico girl! My mom was a calico, but we are not sure about Dad! I get along great with my siblings and two adult resident cats, and my foster parents have never even heard me hiss! In fact, I only “talk” when I want to play, as I’m pretty quiet otherwise. I’m not sure about dogs, though; we had a bit of a traumatic situation while living in the backyard as tiny babies, so a cat-only house is probably better, but who knows! Story
If you would like more information about Ezzie or are interested in adopting her, please contact this number, 404-465-0580 I rescued Ezzie in July 2023, after she gave birth to a litter in 100-degree heat in my neighbor’s yard. I have been fostering this sweet kitty since then. But now she needs a real home. I travel for work so it’s not a great situation for her. The vet says Ezzie is 2 years old. She’s spayed, up to date on all her shots and comes with food, toys and everything else a good kitty needs. She is very grateful, happy and playful. I named her Ezzie, short for Ezmeralda.
