LOVES TO CUDDLE, PLAY, AND ENTERTAIN  DOB 5/18/22 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out! You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again. Here I am in my foster home, happy as a lark with the other kitties. I love to cuddle beside Foster Meowmy as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, and when she heads for bed, I curl up at her feet. ENDEARING MISCHIEF-MAKER  DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jupiter, an extremely playful and affectionate orange tabby fella who likes to jump on Foster Meowmy’s lap when she’s sitting on the toilet. I’m almost always happy to be cuddled and held like a baby with my tummy up. I’m all-boy, you know, and I can’t mess up my macho image by being too mushy and babyish. After my feral momma birthed Karma, Opal, Pluto, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, she moved us to inside a neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add). Then Meowmy moved us to a box on her porch, but when Momma saw some neighbors pick us up, she moved us a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I even enjoy playing with the resident two-year-old cat. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom, but Opal and I win the prize for impishness because we like to dart around to explore the whole house and not just Foster Meowmy’s bedroom.  I love to sleep in the bathroom sink because it’s my favorite “bed” when I need a little “time out” from the kitten frenzy.  I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Our foster pawrents tell us apart because I (Frida) have white mittens on my front paws and high white boots on my back legs as well as a splash or apricot on my forehead. We were born in foster care to a stray momma who had been rescued, so we've been handled a lot from the get-go. We both love it when our foster pawrents lavish us with loving attention. In fact, we expect to be cooed over! LAP CAT WHO PURRS AND CHATS DOB 5/31/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Cheets, a friendly, affectionate, and snuggly “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with red tabby on my head, “saddleback,” and tail. I adore spending quality time cuddling in Foster Meowmy’s lap because that’s where I can turn on my purr motor as well as chat with her about how our day is going. My favorite part of the day is our interactive playtime when she waves the wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase. During my solitary moments, I enjoy watching “kitty TV” by basking in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill while I observe the birds fly by outside. I was about two months old with no momma or siblings in sight when I started showing up at Foster Meowmy’s community-cat feeding station behind a strip club. I’m very food-motivated, so all it took was her serving wet food to convince me that I could trust her. When she first took me home, I was initially shy as I adjusted to life indoors. With no dogs, kids, or other adults, the quiet peace of my foster home suited me to a “T.” I’m happy to report that it didn’t take me long to learn that it felt soooooooo good when Foster Meowmy scratched my cheeks, chin, and ears. One thing led to another, and voila, I was soon a very vocal, loving lap cat! To my delight, she soon rescued another orphaned red-and-white tabby gal named Cheeto, who is just two weeks younger than I am. Gosh! We look so much alike that you would think we are related except that I am noticeably larger than she is. We have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m also super-friendly with the three resident cats, although it hurts my feelings that they don’t respond to my amiable overtures. MELTS IN YOUR ARMS WHEN YOU HUG HIM  DOB 8/1/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Hermes, a friendly, loving, and easygoing solid-white fella except for the gray thumbprints on the crown of my head. My big gold-coin eyes half-close in ecstasy and I melt in Foster Meowmy’s arms when she holds and hugs me. I trust her so much that I roll over to invite her to give me the gentle belly rubs that I enjoy so much. I must admit that when my large, pale jade-green eyes lock into yours, I’m pretty irresistible. Like any sheltered damsel, I was initially shy, docile, and gentle when I met Foster Meowmy. Once I felt confident around her, I became very loving and turned on my purr motor full blast to tell her so! Now I’m very friendly with her and run to greet her at the door so I can plant my pheromones on her feet and legs. My feral-kitty momma birthed my #charming-four litter (Hermes, Caramel, Humphrey, and me) inside of Foster Meowmy’s garage. We lived outside until we were ready to be weaned, and that’s when Foster Meowmy trapped/ spayed/ and released Momma and brought us kittens inside to the safe haven of her home and promised to find us fantastic forever homes. I love to play with my siblings and then collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted. Now I’m ready to share my sweet, patient temperament and affection with my forever family.
