Meet Gus!  Gus is a 16 yr old super senior Maltese who came to RMG after his mom had to be moved into memory care. Aside from having some apparent hearing loss, though, you would never know Gus is a whopping 16 yrs old! He’s extremely spry for his age and in great health. Gus’ previous family did report that he had had some life long anxiety issues, but he had also always been the only pet in the home. Ever since he joined RMG and has been in a foster home with other dogs and cats, we have seen absolutely zero signs of anxiety of any sort. This is one happy fella! So for that reason, we will be looking for a home with another dog for Gus - preferably another chill senior who would enjoy a companion to roam the yard with and then snuggle up for a nice nap. Even at 16 yrs old, we have no doubt that Gus still has a lot of life left to live! Interested in being a part of that amazing life? Bruno is a 7 month old, 9 lb sweetie. He is playful and loves other dogs. He is crate-trained, doing well with house-training, and very affectionate. He loves snuggling, too! He is very much a velcro dog in that he really wants to be right by your side. He is good with cats. He should be just fine with children as well. **You must live in METRO ATLANTA to adopt him** Meet Tod! He is a 5 lb, 4 month old Havanese puppy with a big personality packed into a tiny body. Tod is bold, smart, sweet, curious, cuddly, and playful, and he somehow finds a way to make his foster family laugh every single day. Tod loves playing with his 14 lb foster dog brother and happily keeps up with him. He also entertains himself with toys and can turn almost anything into a game. Tod is fearless, brave, and equal parts mischievous and funny. Tod sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ in his foster parents’ bedroom. During the day he is learning the basics of puppy life. He is beginning to walk on a leash and will need a family committed to continuing his training as he grows. Tod is very food motivated and eager to learn, and he is already working on the commands “sit” and “down” in his foster home. Tod is doing well with housetraining when he gets regular potty breaks every 1–2 hours. Like many puppies his age, consistency will be key as he continues to learn Small body, big personality, and absolutely convinced he belongs in the middle of whatever you’re doing, this sweet boy cannot wait for his forever home!
