Story
Meet Gus!  Gus is a 16 yr old super senior Maltese who came to RMG after his mom had to be moved into memory care. Aside from having some apparent hearing loss, though, you would never know Gus is a whopping 16 yrs old! He’s extremely spry for his age and in great health. Gus’ previous family did report that he had had some life long anxiety issues, but he had also always been the only pet in the home. Ever since he joined RMG and has been in a foster home with other dogs and cats, we have seen absolutely zero signs of anxiety of any sort. This is one happy fella! So for that reason, we will be looking for a home with another dog for Gus - preferably another chill senior who would enjoy a companion to roam the yard with and then snuggle up for a nice nap. Even at 16 yrs old, we have no doubt that Gus still has a lot of life left to live! Interested in being a part of that amazing life? Story
He was purchased from the Omish in Ohio on December 4, 2025. He is full breed Havenese. He was born September 7, 2025. He is a very happy and friendly puppy. He loves to play and enjoys snuggling. I will also give the new owner all the food and accessories that I purchased (if they want them). We are still working on potty training. We cannot keep him due to schedule changes and with him being home alone more he barks and my landlord is receiving complaints.
