Between May 1st and 15th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $50! Meet Pixie! She is a fluffy and cute 6 year old, 10-lb Havanese who loves hanging out and being independent. Her superpowers include being able to sprinkle her pixie dust of cuteness all through out the house. PIxie has a spunky personality and loves when her canine foster friends are around - she just can't wag her tail fast enough. She enjoys being around feline friends too. Pixie is still unsure of getting pets and does not tolerate being picked up, but she is warming up by sniffing her humans toes and wanting to be in the same room. She 100% loves being part of the family. Pixie is crate trained and sleeps in her crate every night. She is working on house training and will need a home with a securely fenced yard to assist her with this. She is low energy and a ball of joy. Some of her favorite things are eating treats, and watching TV with her foster family! Pixie is going to need a patient adopter who will allow her to learn to trust humans again. If your family wants to help this girl blossom and allow her to show all who she can be in this world, Pixie is the gal for you! Also, don't forget about her sprinkling her Pixie dust of cuteness on your heart! Her adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. Sno was surrendered to rescue after his family moved and the HOA only allowed 3 pets and they had 5. He came in with his son Ollie. He is 1.5 years old and 16 lbs. He is a bundle of energy and loves to play. He needs a fenced yard and playmate be great. He is not fully housetrained, but if gotten out enough does fine. He is crate trained when owner not home. Does fine with other dogs with proper introductions. He wants to play and some dogs are taken aback by his energy. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. **Texas adoption only*** This is Joey, a senior dog with the heart and soul of a resilient soldier. For starters, Joey is a beautiful senior Lhasa Apso mix with a unique personality. He's a polite but guarded gentleman who looks like he's wearing a fancy gray suit! Joey is a very sensitive dog who'll need very sensitive, present, and patient people to take him on. For Joey's adoption process he will need several appointments and meetings to see if it is a good match. Joey enjoys long walks, perhaps one of his favorite activities, and will take you on a nicely paced walk through your neighborhood everyday if you get him on the leash! Joey is well trained knowing both how to behave and be comfortable in a crate and relieve himself outside. Joey also enjoys a good tug of war and was a mean puller during his old army days with the other boys in green. He's a child at heart and loves to play with toys! This fellow would prefer to be the only dog in the house but can be tolerant of other dogs. If other dogs are present Joey might feel a bit insecure and start marking. Please don't move too quickly towards Joey! He likes a very relaxed, low-energy environment and is not afraid to let you know when there's too much going on. Joey would prefer no children or at least older children that can respect him and not stick their hands in his face. In addition, Joey prefers people not be too grabby with him. He enjoys his personal space. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
