Story
Meet Callie!
Callie is a 4.5-year-old, 8-lb Havanese/Poodle mix who loves snuggling with her people, following them from room to room, and being as close to her human as possible. She is a true companion dog who would happily spend all day curled up next to her favorite person.
Her superpowers include being incredibly loyal and adapting beautifully once she feels safe and comfortable.
She is still unsure about new situations, leash walking, and being separated from her people, but loves treats, quiet observation of the world around her, and spending time cuddled up with her human. She is not interested in toys or playing with other dogs, but peacefully coexists with other pets and does well with children.
In terms of house training, Callie has done very well overall. She has had a few accidents in the home, usually in the same location, but she has learned to bark or howl at the back door to let her humans know she needs to go outside.
Some of her favorite things are bacon and beef treats, watching people and animals, going wherever her human goes, and curling up for endless snuggles.
If you’re looking for a gentle, low-energy, little to no shedding, loyal companion who wants to be by your side as much as possible, Callie might be your perfect match.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
