Thank you for your understanding. ** COURTESY POST * This animal is not physically in LTR care, they continue to live with the owner. * The adoption/application process is the same for these dogs as any other dog in our rescue. * LTR has not evaluated this pet. * All personality information is provided by the owner and is assumed to be honest and accurate. * The adoption fee/donation for helping rehome the pet is the same as LTR establishes fees. ** Meet Milo 💙 — A Sweet Boy Ready for His Second Chance Forever family. Milo is a six-year-old pure breed Havanese with a gentle soul and a heart full of love, looking for the forever family he truly deserves. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and has AKC paperwork. Milo is looking for a new home due to circumstances beyond his control and through no fault of his own. His family just doesn’t have the time to dedicate to him and he is lacking the attention he deserves. This has been a very difficult decision for Milo’s family but was made with Milo’s best interests at heart. Milo is smart, sweet, and loves belly rubs. He is potty trained, crate trained, and already familiar with an invisible fence, giving him a great foundation. He’s also very trainable and thrives with routine, encouragement, and praise. He knows commands such as sit, Down and drop it. He is a soft, cuddly boy and would love a family who can give him lots of attention. He does wonderfully with kids of all ages, showing patience and kindness, and he gets along well with other dogs, making him a great fit for many family situations. He has not been around cats yet but may be interested in a cat friendship. Milo isn’t asking for much—just stability, love, attention, time and a family willing to give him the second chance he so deeply deserves. This little guy is full of charm, always up for some time in the play yard, and never says no to attention from his favorite volunteers. He’s friendly, social, and has a big personality packed into a compact body. Banjo’s story hasn’t been an easy one. After being found on the streets and fully vetted by our team, we searched for his owners for months. Just as he was about to be adopted, his previous owners came forward. Sadly, a year later, Banjo was found on the streets again, and we were called to take him back into our care. His former owners, currently without stable housing, agreed it was best that Banjo find a safe, secure forever home. Due to past food insecurity, Banjo can be food-aggressive with other dogs. He’s shown no aggression toward people and does well with small dogs, but may be a bit pushy with larger ones. With a bit of patience and structure, Banjo has all the potential to thrive. He would love to be an only dog to one person.  Banjo is now safe, healthy, and ready for a brighter future. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s ready to be truly home for good, Banjo could be your perfect match. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250.
