Lucy is a 9-year-old, 16-pound Havanese mix with a sweet soul and a surprising zest for life. Don't let her age fool you--this little lady still has plenty of pep in her step and enjoys staying active alongside her people. Lucy came from a home with many other dogs and does wonderfully with other small canine companions. She would be happy in a home with a furry friend or as your one and only as long as she gets plenty of love and attention. She especially enjoys spending time with her best buddy Titan--they're not bonded, but they do love to play and hang out together. This affectionate girl truly shines when she's with her humans. Lucy loves attention, pets, and simply being near her people. She'll happily soak up all the love you have to give and return it tenfold. Lucy appears to be house trained on a consistent schedule, which is a wonderful bonus for her future family. Because she doesn’t walk well on a leash and absolutely loves to run, she will require a home with a physically fenced yard where she can safely enjoy her freedom. With her easygoing nature and loving personality, Lucy is ready to settle into a home where she feels safe, cherished, and truly part of the family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm Avery!I am a 5 year old pure blooded Havenese.  I was rescued from a puppy mill and am learning how wonderful it is to be loved!  To be honest, I was very shy when I first arrived at my foster's home, but my foster Mom and my foster dog brother won me over with their kindness.  I am learning how to have fun and love life.  I'm learning so many new things, like how to walk on a leash and how to go outdoors to go potty (I still make mistakes sometimes, but I am improving).  I have an upcoming vet appointment to be neutered and get my teeth cleaned.  I am already UTD on my vaccinations.I'm looking for a loving person or family who will continue to work with me as I become more trusting and secure as a FURever best friend.  Do I sound like the best boy for you?  Fill out and application and let's make time to meet.  Adoption Fee for Avery to help defray vet expenses:  $300Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 21, 2026, 7:03 pm
